Only the lines? What if it hits the floor in the middle of the court? Is the line judge supposed to still signal "in" even when it is obviously in? How about a video explaining the "touch" signal please? I'm new to line judging. The first R1 told me touch is when the ball is touched and then goes out of bounds. But today's R1 called a touch after someone touched it and it landed in bounds. I'm confused!
I was told call what you see. Plus it keeps you "in the game" and staying focused. If you get over ruled you get over ruled, but as a team we look good when we're all seeing the same thing... most of the time right?
