Ppl are not used to seeing enha trying this kind of sound and that shocked them cos its different. I dont think they dont like it more like... they are saying it topped tamed-dashed for them but not fever and drunk-dazed. We definitely need more but I'll give them a pass on this one as they are back in just 2 months and even with an experimental or rock and trap element song they still deliver.
Let's hope they continue with this genre because I love it!

This is the best song ever
The more I listen to this song the lyrics "curse like a medal" I wonder if that could also be a double meaning back to the vampire theme as blood is metallic tasting and they were all holding glasses of "wine" or blood depending on which way you want to think it. They have been alive for so long and now that they can be in the sun everything they were told was a lie, they want to be free of the constraints of what had bound them for so long. But also is it now a curse or a blessing that they can be free? Just what I get from it storyline wise.
This song make me listen more and more. I an clearly see the difference side of ENHYPEN. I never expect this...this is totally my favourite along with Drunk-Dazed. As a person in her early 30s I am obsessed with this Y2K energy. I love how like, heavy the choreo feels if that makes sense. This has such 2000s vibes, the choreo, the song, the styling, the fish eye lens, the lighting, all of it is just so well done! Also the medal thing, I read that it's referencing a war medal. Like you get your medal, great, sure, but what it symbolises and what it means you've been through is awful. I think the song is supposed to be about when from the outside you are seen as being blessed but you actually feel cursed in your situation, and also dismissing the generic or insincere answers given to you and choosing to find your own path and your own answers. Anyway I think this is my favourite title track so far.👏👏🥳🥳

But Dimension: Answer is the next step. According to Jake, this new album shows that the group has already decided to find their own answers regardless of what society says.
❝ The album voices our will to refuse the answers set by the world and to find our own answers. We cannot be sure about what the right answer is, but still we will not follow what’s given by society, and find our own.❞
The new title track, “Blessed-Cursed,” expresses how the members feel that society’s rules and expectations make them cursed rather than blessed, and it is this concept that gives the song its darker, more powerful tone-and what makes the song the embodiment of ENHYPEN, according to Jay. The song is about the members’ intent to find their own way and their own answers with confidence now that they are no longer in the “dilemma” stage, which Jay says best represents the group and their style of performance.
❝ I think this song is what best embodies ENHYPEN. If we showed a different, fresh side of us in the previous album, this time it’s all about ‘being ENHYPEN’ and ‘performances only ENHYPEN can do.’❞
Sunoo echoed those feelings, saying that he also feels that “Blessed-Cursed” is about the members pursuing their own paths in life.
According to a press release by BELIFT LAB, “Blessed-Cursed” expresses the contrasting emotions of growing up. “Accepting what was given to the boys and being tamed by the rules of society seemed like a blessing, but now that they‘ve realized the truths of the world, this all rather feels like a curse,” the agency explained in a statement. “The track is the band’s declaration to the world - ‘I’ll go my own way.❞
This message is evident throughout the group’s lyrics in “Blessed-Cursed.” During the song, ENHYPEN discusses going against society’s expectations of them. “Boundaries holding me in/ To hell with your rules,” they sing at the start of the track. They also talk about going on their own journey to figure out who they really are. “I walk like a lion. I'm making my own history. I don't know answers. I just go my own way,” the group continues in the chorus.
The music video for “Blessed-Cursed” adds to the meaning behind the song by featuring powerful choreography they’ve coined, like the “prayer dance,” “lion dance,” and “fight dance.”
