I am greatful to overcome my addiction. By the grace of God. I am greatful my chains are gone. I am greatful for my freedom. I am greatful to be able to go back to work. I am greatful for the rooms of AA and NA. I am greatful for the help everyone who has been here for me. I am greatful for the roof over my head. I will honor my freedom and honor my family job. Thank God my chains are gone.
I am greatful for my freedom. I am greatful my chains are gone. I thank God for my health for being sober. I am greatful to be working again and 3 years. It takes discipline and I had to get honest with myself and my family and I never wanted to live in a prison again. I am greatful to be working and I am greatful to be able to get married to my soon to be wife. Thank God for my freedom and my body mind soul. It says to be sober in the Bible as well.
Not only the there is AA Book. The truth is in the Bible as well. To be sober as well. I have both my freedom is more to me than anything. It says in the Bible as well to be sober.. I am greatful for my health and I am greatful for my family and job. I thank God every day. I am greatful to get to get married soon to.
Great share! But - it's Alcoholics ANONYMOUS, so I don't need your surname! It worries me that increasingly, famous people do their shares on-line, tapes and cd's at conventions, and we know who they are because they broke their own anonymity - this is dangerous. I see comments posted about these famous people I.e. 'yep, that was a great film he made', 'I love that album she made', 'wow he/she was good in that (t.v. prog)', and it becomes all about the fame that person has, and not about recovery. And what happens when the famous person relapses - what does that do for the newcomer? I'm sorry, it just concerns me a lot, and its happening a lot now. Peace and hope to all. Xxx
