There's nothing wrong with reacting to your opponent's forward movement with a mash before he even gets into throw range. Sometimes, it's even the best answer. But when you're in a defense position, then this should cover more options at once. UNI2 beta reduced the tech window from 14 to 12, so reacting to the throw itself will be just a little harder.
Speaking of character specialist OS.... Hilda's is the single most insane one lmao. 1BC~2AD Tech throws, anti-air assaults, and crush lows all in a single motion!
@@TanasinnAZ The threat against VO-OS is maxed out against Hilda and significantly lower against anyone else based on my limited experience. I used to main Hilda in ST but now I primarily use Londrekia, who also has an amazing FF-OS but is so resource intensive that Im more often made to regret using VO as a reversal. I haven't had much opportunity to play UNI too much lately, but once UNI2 drops, I definitely need to practice cleaning up my offense. Whenever my adrenaline starts rushing, I usually forget to stagger my normals properly or bait OS attempts (which is ironic since I picked up Londrekia to start with because his j.C stuffs out most OS') Also forgot to mention in my initial post but really nice video. Very intuitive explanation.
