This was an incredible story I admit. One that gets me every time though was the story of "Hachiko" the Japanese akida puppy that waited 10 years for his master to come home (his master had died... the movie based on this true story stars Richard Gere)

I mean his wife died out of a feeling of duty to bring him a meal everyday. I would say that's also a pretty hard committment. He probably realy got mad on himself for allowing that to even happen and rightly so!
This story allso has some lessons not learned!
      1. If the people of the Villages would have dedicated one day less in preparing for Diwali and would have instead taken hammer and chisel at this one day of the year. 800 villagers would have made the road possible in just about a 8 years, without much effort on the individual.
      2. Poor places can get less poor if locals make permanent or very long lasting improvements to the infrastructure that serve everyone. Instead of improving individual economic situations.
Maybe thanks to the movie people will learn.
I speculate if more people would have helped and the government would have send a single guy to show how traditional cobbelstones roads are made, it woud have costed the government allmost nothing and the pass would have bin ready much earlyier and would have a long lasting low maintenance roadsurface.

His villagers also thought the same. Impossible!
So, the advice to take better care of this children was well meant.

I recommend every single one of us watch this! The things we take for granted is killing us on the inside. Not all of us but enough of us. One is too many. We've lost our way more than you want to imagine. Is anyone watches this tell your friends, family, and people you don't know. It's the prime example that we need to open our eyes to what really matters. That love can indeed move mountains. And this man proved it for the sheer fact his loving wife no matter what was going to and did risk her life to see about him. If you think angels don't exist on earth this beautiful story will change your mind and will open your heart to the possiblity that we all have that in us as well. So stop and look around you. What truly matters to you the most being happy on the outside or truly being happy and complete. Love does indeed conquer all. Thank you for this my friends.

    That's focus and determination...
When he was kicked out from the train for not having ticket he did not go back to his village instead he walked 600 miles on foot to delhi...
    I know his whole story
He was once prisoned too for few days
That time he was getting popular
And people were raising question on government
That time digital media was not there only newspapers
And government accused him of stealing a mountain and jailed him
He once said that he wanted to check who's bigger
    His love for his wife
    Or
    The mountain

There are actually a lot of similarities between Shawshank Redemption and The Man Who Moved Mountains. Andy, being a prisoner, was was of the lowest class and had managed to earn the respect of the guards and even the warden over several years. He also was selfless and committed, having written to the state relentlessly before acquiring funding for his library and risking his well being for his fellow prisoners to recieve a few beer even though he didn't drink. They also both suffered personal tragedies that possibly contributed to the strength and resolve required to complete their impossible task as an individual.
