I appreciate your help but if you show problems that are not going to be on test just to bunch different methods in one example it becomes confusing for ME. speaking on question #2
Lenght x width applies to the yellow rectangle which was the 30 square feet. You ADD on the area of the half-circle (which was 14.13 sq ft) to find the total area of the shape.
In the 3rd problem, I don’t understand why you were able to multiply all by 12. Wouldn’t you have to multiply each denominator by a number so they all equal 12? I multiplied each 6 by 2 and 3 by 4. But I didn’t end up with the same answer😩
Hey there. You will get the hang of this technique with more practice. Check out this video where I spent an entire live session covering this exact topic: th-cam.com/video/SSJ_m8dU_Yg/w-d-xo.html

I understand. You definitely want to feel comfortable with fractions though.

Hi, on the last question why did you add 30ft^2 + 14.13? why wouldn't you multiply since the question is asking to find the area. LxW

you helped me get a 90% on the math portion thank you sir!!
You're welcome! Glad the tutorials helped!
75x105=7,875/60=131.25 the answer is B) 131

@@bcraftmath Thank you so much!!
teas is a lot of add /plus /multiple fractions pemdas, cross multiple some word problems
Question when do you cross multiply then?
Cross multiplying and dividing is common with solving proportions.
i did a proportion for the first example and got it correct (included 105). Would that always work too?
Sure will!
Which for your playlist should I watch for the teas math?
I'd say start with the first two images at www.bcraftmath.com/atiteas. Also... that page has ALL of my TEAS math resources.
thank you so much for this
For #3, use PEMDAS to do it correctly in order.
It doesn't give the right answer. Is it 32/15 ?
@@vivianaelizabeth3280 the answer in the video is correct.
These questions can be solved with a calculator or no, on the real test?
A basic four function calculator can be used on the TEAS test.
Awesome
