I think our US social engineering that everyone is a victim (so many fake victimhoods to choose from) that we need saving by the Gov laws, crippling minds. We have to save our selves thru God...remember God helps those who help themselves. That mini poem "Foot Prints in the sand" means we take the first several steps and then God joins us in our journey. Not sitting down, doing nothing, waiting for something else to walk for us.

I thought the CDF of the Catholic Church has condemned her writings. It's true that Msgr. Renee Laurentin supported her for a time, but it's been quite some time since the CDF verdict of negative and that has never been reversed.

My daughter-in-law’s family are all Protestants, and I love them.
I have a question about the unity of churches, hoping that someone could answer it. I understand (for example) celebrating mass together or easter day but what about the slightly different doctrines of different denomination? I am especially referring to the forgiveness of sins through confessions: catholics for example differentiate between mortal and venial sins and have to confess to a priest. Protestants don't differentiate between mortal and venial and confess directlt to got without a priest. (I'm not sure how it works for orthodox christians but i hope you still understand my question 😅)
