    I never watched these videos when they originally came out because I was too young and I never found the channel. This is a huge regret for me because this channel is amazing!!! One day I was watching Sark stream some sniper elite 3 and suddenly he mentioned inbox mentioning that people had been asking them to make it again and when I heard that I decided to go see what the hubbub was about. Instantly I watched every single episode of inbox and I never had a moment thinking that it was boring or bad it is always just so great. Then after that I never really watched any of the other videos they made but I always went back onto the Inbox videos and watched them again. Then one day I found this and now since I have watched through this amazing series I think that it is time for me to go back and experience these videos because I have never seen a team that was so dynamically amazing as these 3 or even just Hutch and Sark or APL and Sark. Sark is a genius of comedy and personally my hero he has never been in a video that I don't like and he is always the life of a video while Seananners delivers a nice calmness to it with also always being the moral anchor while Hutch is the realist he brings in truth but isnt afraid to express himself. Hollywood was the guy who laughed at their jokes the man behind the scenes that kept it all together. APL was different though not worse or better though he played differently he was the person who took Sarks jokes and just made them better and added to them escalating the shenanigans. Together they formed what I call the perfect channel of comedy of gaming and of friendship, they were what truly made what youtube is today without them there would be no ChilledChaos, no Pewdiepie, no Vanoss, No Hutch, No Nanners, No Garry's Mod, Minecraft would have just been a normal indie game and we would never have had the laughs the tears and the experience that this series showed.
    Thank you, Sark, Nanners, APL, Hutch.
    Thank you Kaminaji for making such a great series and sifting through the 4 years of footage the 24/7 livestreams and the constant references to old videos that made this amazing series. I am convinced that this series alone would be great to show to someone to say why Respawn was so great!

      Way TooAwesome I used to go to my friends house to watch it because I had dial up. I agree that this has made many gamers' careers in TH-cam. And I loved every second of it.

    I can't watch this and NOT shed a tear, I started watching MachinimaRespawn from the beggining and back in the day, watching these videos was basicly my freetime, sometimes I would much rather watch these guys than playing games, wierd huh?, that's how strongly I feel for these guys, they are the kings of TH-cam and always will be, in my opinion! :)

  • @SalusanTaurus
    @SalusanTaurus 10 ปีที่แล้ว +51

    This whole playlist is a fountain of nostalgia similar to what I've experienced trawling back through the old vids numerous times before, but watching this actually really made me feel sorry for Wood. It was his dream job just as much as the rest of them and he was the only one who didn't have a choice about leaving it (Though it's not like the other guys didn't have legitimate reasons), it was just pulled out from and him and he didn't have a TH-cam career to fall back on. I wonder what he's up to now, looking at this twitter he hasn't posted in almost a year - hope he's doing well.

    I found myself getting really emotional watching this. I watched all of your tribute videos today and I'm glad that I did. I watched each of these people individually back in the day and I watched them grow with machinima as I myself grew as well. i grew out of TH-cam and recently stumbled on these and it really brought back a lot of memories

      +JellyFicheable 7 months later, I hope you still watch these guys. Sark makes fucking incredible videos with all his great editing, Hutch is better on the stream side since his videos became slightly lacking for me due to all the chest and stuff and Seananners is still 'Oll Seananners, he's branched off from COD but I still find most of his content entertaining.

    Just typed a comment which took me at least 15 minutes, but halfway into it I realized that it's useless to even try putting the feeling these guys have given me over the years, since the first Respawn video, into words. It's been an amazing ride. Thanks Sark, Wood, Hutch and Nanners, and Kaminaji, thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. It's a perfect display of the glory days. Seriously dude mad props.

      It is somehow weird that these guys have created such a strong community by "just playing games" when you think about it.. I think the thing that made it so special was the perfect timing that they had..
      The gameplay-explosion-days and in my opinion high point of the CoD series combined with personalities like Hutch and Nanners sharing their experience with the whole YT-journey and giving us life-advises or making us laugh (for which Sark deserves the most amount of credit) made these couple of years just so wonderful.
      And I'm glad I could experience it along with a really great community.

    I knew SeaNanners back in the commentary days but aside from that I never knew about respawn (well I knew about the channel, didn't know about the antics that were going on on it). Found out about mailbox through Sark mentioning it in one of his videos and then found this. And holy crap did I ever miss out. It's funny because it feels so nostalgic even though I never watched it when I was younger but holy shit they were the best trio ever along with Wood. Damn though, them talking about their experience towards the end of the video just makes you feel wonderful and so sad at the same time, like those were the best days ever. It's weird having this stuff be so personal, then check out Nanners channel to watch a 3 minute prop hunt video, but such is life. Does anyone know if Wood has a channel? Nanners, Hutch and Sark definitely need to do a play through together of some game. Nobody else though unless it's Wood or APL.

    Alright, this is my opinion... so don't kill me, but I feel like this is the perfect ending to these tribute vids. And I didn't really like APL's "chemistry" with Sark in the dying days of Respawn, it was ok, but I wasn't as enthusiastic as I was. Sark, Hutch, Nanners and Wood falling apart was an end of an era indeed.... What I'm trying to say is, the "Epilogue" after this, isn't really necessary. Yeah, that's just my opinion. Thanks Kaminaji for bringing us all the nostalgic memories and helpingus relive the the best days of Respawn. Kudos to you for a job well done!

    • @Kaminaji00155
      @Kaminaji00155  10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** The Reason why I split these Videos in Chapters is exactly for such cases.. Sometimes people don't like some chapters and skip them or don't want the story to end so they don't read/watch it to the end.. So instead of just making one long Video (which was long up for debate) I decided to split the story up and tell it like a book.. a good book^^
      Personally I like this Video as an ending as well, because it reflects the spirit of that time.. It felt like Respawn's days are over and I can feel that in this Video.
      But I had set myself a goal for this tribute and that was to tell the story (or at least what I thought was the story) of Sark, Hutch and Nanners at Respawn for those who miss the old times (like I did before starting this project) or those who never got to see them back then.. So that meant that I can't just leave out the Inbox times with Apl, even though it did not feel like Respawn to me.. And that doesn't mean that I don't like Inbox with Apl, I had some good times watching them, but it just wasn't the same..

      @Kaminaji00155  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      natemango77 Well just think about how you would do that..You're right, that would make more sense, but take for example wood.. do you know what he is up to now? Hutch is just streaming these days, nanners brings just 3min Videos, that are (after a year or two) just sometimes entertaining, but don't have any personal aspect whatsoever, and last but not least Sark, who in my opinion has the best content from these 3, but doesn't offer something to work with. How can you make a decent Video with this material.. I myself can't imagine how..
      that's why I chose to show the final days of "Respawn".. hoping that at least you get to leave this video series with a smile

      He smoothly backed out of Respawn sometimes around March 2012.. He said he wanted to focus more on his own channel, but there wasn't a big announcement like they did with hutch as far as I know. Sark just mentioned in a MW3 gameplay/commentary that Nanners didn't really quit and that he will sometimes hop on in some videos, but I just saw him once in an inbox video with apl and sark.

      I know this is two years late, but what's the music throughout the video?

      More specifically what's the outro music? I think some person just slapped lyrics on top of the beat, because SoundHound recognizes it as "imagine nous" but your outro doesn't have any lyrics. I hate the singing and I'm asking for some help.
