The pain would be considered sciatica most likely, go see a physical therapist, or MRI. I didn’t listen to my body, and went for hack squats one day and I’ve been out of lower body movements for months now, herniated discs start with no pain and worsen until it’s crippling. My range of motion was under an inch. I can bend over now, but definitely can’t add weight, only heavy benching/upper body and machines for legs for me.
That’s actually very similar to my situation right now. Upper body is good, but I can’t do rowing movements without chest support, nor can I do hinge/squat movements. The physical therapist I saw said it was a herniated disc, but disregarded the tingling sensation (since it wasn’t sever). I’m going on 4 months Jan 5th.
@@PeggyKyle the tingling is most likely the disc pressing on a nerve. Sometimes my toes tingle or go numb for a day. I wish you a speedy recovery though!
What would happen if you had a large plate on the floor on eithor side of the bench to elevate your feet i see another powerblifter type doing this ( big boy sc )
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve actually been taking a few days off. I was trying to post shorts of my workouts for this new block, but my back is not doing well at all, and I’ve decided to stop training for the 5k, unfortunately.
@@PeggyKyle I was pushing a car once and my one leg made like a klak sound,I had to hop on one leg for about two days then slowly started putting pressure on again-didn't go to doctor just self medicated ❤
Wishing you best luck with yt🙌🏼

I am seeing my PT sometime in January (in person) and will most likely get an MRI shortly after. Thank you for the wishes!! 🤞

My birks worked fine, but I use plates at some commercial gyms if necessary. 17in is my sweet spot/max.
@@PeggyKyle good just looked like you were reaching for that floor stay safe just do the things you can do 💪💪💪💪💪
I only do fast walking and stretching exercises, don't go to gym ❤ maybe pinching a nerve
