I think manu is the best centre for various reasons. Firstly, never misses tackles, and considering he is that heavy and fast on top of it, he can make more breaks than anyone, as he is the most powerful. His offloads recently have been great, and as you say, he is still young. I think eastmond and tuilagi should be in the centres for england as eastmond has the mobility and pace and manu has the build. Twelve trees to me is nothing special but still is a good backup. Burrell is my next choice, but am looking forward to seeing Burgess make his way up through the ranks. The ONLY thing that Manu doesn't acquire in his skill set is kicking but that isn't vital at 13. I think that his thinking on the spot is awesome. E.g. when he was playing 14 against NZ and faked the kick.
I've noticed that both Manu and Sam Burgess both have a kind of hand- off technique, which involves holding the ball in two hands and as they're about to enter the contact thrusting their forearm/elbow into the opponents shoulder/face area. Manu does it twice to Jean De Villiers in this video. It looks really effective and even when they're still tackled looks really painful, i might try and learn the technique and use it myself, see if it gets me anywhere aha
It's become pretty common. One of the most destructive uses I've seen has been Rene Ranger. He combines it with a long step that seems to transfer an unbelievable amount of momentum to the tackling player sending them flying onto their arse. I've seen a couple players get pinged for it though, "leading with the elbow" is the call I've seen most. So just be careful your ref doesn't take a disliking to you.
Its like a short mohawk fade down here in australia, new zealand and the pacific islands (like samoa). Was really popular awhile back, they trim the front above the hair line also so the actual mohawk doesnt spike up straight away.
personally id have burgess as an inside and thats what I've read lancaster may do as well, but I suppose either would be pretty frightening ball-carrying wise
Good player, but at present, I think he's a bit over rated and England rely on him too much. I think he'll definitely become one of the best in Europe, but he's not there yet. I'm not trying to belittle him or anything, because I like Manu and I rate him. I just think he has a lot of improving to do.
I struggle to think of a centre better than him. I really do. JDV, Nonu, SBW (those two NZ centres are over-rated though if you ask me), Bastereud (I can never spell his name properly) have all been rolled on by Manu and he's only 23. Yes he's got improving to do but that just makes him even more terrifying. He's already one of the best and he's just getting better.
MrMcBobb I understand your point but I don't agree with it. I think the likes of JDV, Nonu, Conrad Smith, BOD (whilst he was still playing), Matt Giteau, Jonathan Davies are all currently better centres than Manu Tuilagi. In the very big games, I don't think he's turned up as often as he should have done and some English fans rely on him too much. I'm not saying he won't one day be up there with the best, I just don't think he is yet. If I was an English rugby fan, I think I'd rather see Luther Burrell start at 13 ahead of Manu, based on current form. I totally disagree that he's one of the best. That doesn't mean that I'm saying he never will be though. If I was English, I'd want Twelvetrees and Burrell as the centre combination for the 6 nations.
When he makes the 3 all blacks look like amateurs is just amazing! What a beast
WHO WANTS A PART 2?
Aright guys when this video reaches 100K views I'll do the Part 2 Tribute, any song suggestions?;)

Mamuka Gorgodze is king
good centre, gets lost on the wing
Well he’s not a winger...better than anything NZ have got in the midfield at the moment

DavidRM18 this comment hasn’t aged well...Twelvetrees....
beast back line: 10 Lima Sopoaga, 11 Alesana Tuilagi, 12 Ma'a Nonu, 13, Manu Tuilagi, 14 Nadolo, 15 Francious Steyn
9 Aaron Smith
And 10 Dan carter
Rene Ranger would destroy him!
jack mc no wtf are you crazy?
Manu is 6ft1 and weighs 15 kilos more, plus a much faster and stronger player
tuilagis a good player but come on Rangers the only man ive ever seen run over SAVEA ! Rangers just far better and hes faster than him to
manu has also bumped savea twice
Keesaw Moss-davies I've seen many get bumped off a couple of times by savea
Stopped watching this because of the choice of music
One of the most overrated centres of all time😂
Gethin Roberts In what way? Other then him getting tunnel vision from time to time, I’d say he’s exceptional at pretty much everything else.
@@glenndenning2917 and he gets injured a lot
not even big ..

darcy fitz and...
Still not good enough to play for the All Blacks .
Well, he's English, or arguably Samoan, so he can't. That's how it works...
If New Zealand was a club he would definitely be in it. But New Zealend is a country lol..
Josh Allan No doubt that he would make the All Blacks if he could, but he wouldn't start
Did you not watch the video? half of it was Tuilagi tearing through your precious All Blacks
tjtocker Thank god some one who agrees with me xD
