One of my favourite night out spring/summer/early autumn frag. Sometimes, not always, it turns into a chemical lash on my skin, but I kind of always return to Dark Blue. Totally off the radar.

Great video Stephen. Dark Blue rarely gets any metion online but this was my very first signature scent in my early 20s. Lead me to Boss Bottled and later Bleu de Chanel which was my signature til 5 years ago. Still a special scent for me.

What a coincidence, I was going thru my collection and just felt like spraying this one to smell it in the air. To me it smells like cherry cola and tobacco!

La usé cuando sse puso de moda por varios años, es espectacular la compré hace poco y el olor me trajo lindos recuerdos, pero siento que no huele igual, hay algo en la reformulación que la hace un poco diferente, y ya no dura tanto en piel como cuando salió, creo que le rebajaron calidad, seŕia lindo si boss ,la volviera a lanzar original😊

Dark Blue was my signature fragrance many years ago. Great fragrance but unfortunately it has been probably reformulated. I mean, it was a sort of powerhouse, long lasting, had very good projection but now it is watered down a lot. It doesn't perform as good as before.
@@s2jackson sadly I don't know. The fragrance was launched in 1999, so I guess early 2000s. Don't know exactly when it has been reformulated or when they did the last reformulation ( I think they have reformulated it several times ). If I remember right it was still a good performer in 2007-2008

I picked this one up a month ago and wasnt really impressed as well. You should review Lacoste Pour Homme one of these days. I picked that one up as well. At first I didnt like it reminded me of thera flu haha but now I actually enjoy it.
Hi Steven, One thing lingering in my mind for long, I already own Dior Sauvage EDT, should I buy Dylan Blue or not? If the vibes are pretty same, do you think it makes Dylan Blue redundant? Would Dylan Blue smell as Dior Sauvage does? I am trynna have a versatile scent.. Please advise.
I personally feel they don't smell too similar. I would say dylan blue is more sweeter while Sauvage EDT is a little more spicier. I personally would get 1 million by paco rabanne
I just bought this blindly as it was on sale and i previously read really good reviews of it. This cologne smells awful. I was horribly disappointed. In the past I've been pleasantly impressed with Hugo Boss. This however was a very big regret. What a shame.
Hugo Boss Dark Blue has sentimental value because it starts my passion for parfums when I was a teenager

Took dark blue on a vacation to Jamaica and from JFK to Norman Manley airport Fire 🔥 Compliments works better in the heat dry down is a killer

Performance is it's biggest problem. I tested it a few days ago, but it hardly lastet a hour on my wrist.
