35 AND 50 in my bag! 🤙🏼
Also in mine !! :D
Yeah it’s really what I wanna shot. Whenever I take my Nikon d200 I always use my 50mm lens, when I use my x100s it’s pretty much a 35mm so it’s just whatever I wanna shoot. I feel like i do like using 50mm whenever I shot in portrait angle more than the 35mm. But 35mm in my opinion it’s more versatile
Exactly, I love the look of the 50mm also, but it's the 35mm that lives in my bag !
I want to shoot cinematic videos from my nikon d3200 so which lense should I buy ?
The Nikon D3200 doesn't have amazing video specs, but if you pair it with a good 35mm you can make very cool stuff ! If you have to choose one lens for photo and video I'd go 35mm to be a bit more flexible !
I have 12×12 feet room,i have sony zve10, which one should i buy?
Definitely the 35mm to have a bit more room to play with framing. Or if you're willing to get more than one lens, maybe a wide and the 50mm could be an amazing kit.
It depends on what you plan on shooting.
Portraits that consist of tight head shots and 1/2 length shots, the correct answer is 50mm (or 70mm). For portraits that consist of 3/4 length and full length and environmental, correct answer is 35mm. If you do all the portrait lengths, correct answer is 35mm, and crop in during post production for tight head shoots or 1/2 length.
For video, 35mm.
Totally agree, those would be my picks also. Would only add that on APS-C, 35mm can also be a little bit tight for video, so if the person is 100% on to video, gotta think about it a bit.
f2.8 28mm vs f1.8 50mm wut i choices for film/cinematic for my Nikon D3300 ??
Hi !! Definitely you'll feel that the 50mm 1.8 feels more cinematic using the Nikon D3300, but also it will be a much tighter angle of view. I'd recommend something like a 35 1.8 if possible, if looking for only one lens !
Basically told us nothing helpful
hahahahahaha I'll add some more data and statistics about each lens in the next video
@@FlyEnri ok it’s a deal
Hello! New to the channel! For a 700d which one of these 2 would be better for family pictures. Thank u in advance
For the 700D and family group pictures, definitely the 35mm. With the 50mm you'll find it a bit tight !
what if i click 35 mm from 28-50mm.... will i get the same sharpness like 35mm ???
The sharpness depends on the lens build and also the aperture! I'll do a video about it ! Great idea !
That depends on the quality of the lens you are using. In general, a prime lens will be sharper than a zoom lens, but that can be complicated when comparing a cheap prime lens with an expensive zoom lens.
Prime lenses usually have wider maximum apertures, so being able to use lower ISO values in low light typically gives prime lenses a resolution advantage.
"Let's settle it once and for all"
*proceeds to not settle it*
If I had chosen one (which would be own preference) someone could say "ahhh but in this case the other is better!" So what I can do to settle once and for all, is to give you all info you need to make your own choice ;)
@@FlyEnri Yes, you are completely right!
It's your wording, don't say you're settling it whilst you are actually just giving a really good overview of their strengths and weaknesses.
I know you need clickbait for clicks (which is sad but the way it is..), but still..
I do enjoy your content tho!
Once and for all. Who are you? John Alcott?
His grandson, how did you know ?! 😂
Most sensible answer 👏
Thanks a lot for watching !!
You lost me when you said “pro camera” like apsc can’t be a pro camera, but I do get the point.
I had the same feeling, but especially after meeting some friends who shoot Fuji (and it's mostly aps-c) I got it can be used for professional services, but yeah, there are some limitations.
First!coll camera btw
Yey!! Thanks for watching !
35 is actually great for landscapes and low light architecture shots.
I love it for that also !
Great vid!
Thanks a lot dear ! There's a longer version on the channel also !
“Zoom difference”
Hmm…
You mean focal length difference, right?
Exactly, I've said it in other videos focal length and then some people asked if it means the zoom, so this time i just went for the popular term even if it's not the most correct one. For a short video to be short is difficult to choose how much context to give, hahahaha
@@FlyEnri got it, you know your audience better 👍
