    This the best tutorial I've watched.... I've been looking for how to create circle with dimensions, though I've not been able to fix it well...buh I've seen the concept behind it...

      Opt+Cmd+G = Frame Selection. You can also see it on the right click menu option.

    You sound like a nice guy and good teacher but I hate the vector tool in Figma. It's so frustrating to just edit one point. I literally have a headache from trying to move just one point. why can't I just click the point and move the point. I've used, shift, option, and command in every possible combination. Its weird that you just grab the point in the video and are able to move it. My points won't move, just the curve moves or the whole unit moves. Figma needs a proper edit pointer that is not the curve or move tool.

      You need to click on a single point before manipulating it.

    I've been using many different design and prototyping tools over the last 2 decades, and I have to admit that Figma is the first actually useful and versatile piece of software that covers most typical needs of a UI/UX designer. It's very well designed, and once you learn all the capabilities and tricks, you get a great toolset for efficient work in a single product.

  • @zenzoomies2338

    At 47:20 or so, you allign the circles to be high and low to get a diagonal look. I can't seem to figure out how to do that (is it possible my shortcut isn't working? I'm trying to use option W for allign to top but nothing happens)

  • @zenzoomies2338
    @zenzoomies2338 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm struggling to find info online about how to change the stroke super fast like you do. I've found somewhere that says that the shortcut is option command and then . or , for increased or decreased, but it doesnt seem to work for me?

    at 54:35 you can also set a responsive line grid by overlaying two layout grids on top of each other (row + columns) and setting the gutter of each to 0px.

    In regards to inside/center/outside strokes, transparency of stroke and other object layers could affect your choice as well. i.e. if you want a semi-transparent stroke it will look very different inside vs outside when there is a fill and will look like 2 stroke when it's center.
