Whilst it is nice to see the Ffarquhar coaches in the Museum, it is off-putting to not see them trundling up and down the Branch. I mean, in the RWS, Thomas, Annie, and Clarabel are auto-train fitted, meaning Thomas could still do these modern push-pull services with them.
Ironically in the railway series Thomas keeps Annie and Clarabel up until the last book which is set in 2011 and even then they don’t get replaced If he can keep his old coaches until 2011 then that means people don’t mind them being outdated
3:24 Is that Shane pulling Irish rail enterprise coaches? I thought he would be pulling the usual MK3 coaches that runs on the Pancras Special service. It’s an odd but nice choice although how do those coaches run on UK rails with the different track gauge? 3:31 Also IS THAT A GODDAMN CLASS 800?!! What the hell is it doing on Sodor of all places?!! Does the modern LNER TOC have a contract with the NWR to run intercity services from London Kings Cross on the Mainland to Tidmouth on Sodor? So many interesting elements and unanswered questions! Nice episode and looking forward to the next engine arrival or between the arrivals episode!
What incidents would cause Richard and/or Taylor, Mister, Joseph and Roger to get bought by the NWR? (And what about Joey, Mickey's pal?) I think Edward going to Crovan's Gate in the wake of damaging himself while bringing a passenger train home would cause Joseph to do his work and he'd stay afterwards. I reckon in the wake of James's incident with some hostile bees, Roger would stand in for him and stay on afterwards. Mister might come in the wake of Gordon falling off an old branch line while pulling a freight train too fast. And I don't know what rationale Taylor would be bought for.
Isn't Daisy a Ffarquhar branch line engine too - or does she run the Harwick line in this series too with Ryan? Furthermore, who runs the Norramby line with Arthur? Do Owen, Edwin and Evan help him too, or does the Big Tank Engine run that route with Robert, Felix and Darcy?
Those new coaches look way too heavy for Toby and Flora. Also it feels weirder retiring Henrietta, but not Toby, given how they're always together. It also just feels weird with the engines being just as, if not older.
i think thomas and toby were really angry about their faithful coaches being replaced and retired.
Or upset. Considering Henrietta went with Toby when he was bought, and Annie & Clarabel were with Thomas since Day 1 of his own branch.

This is mostly just your own head canon right? It seems like it's a mix of the Railway series and CGI at the same time.
In future appearances can you give Emily her season 9 to 12/Edward's season 4 to 5. It fits her better then her original season 7 or CGU whistles.
