Hi, some great vids on your channel! I am heading off on a climbing road trip next year and was thinking about stopping for a while in Leonidio. As I will be alone, I was wondering how difficult you think it would be to meet up with other climbers. Is there a particular hostel or bar that climbers tend to head to? Thanks :)
Alex Bush It's not difficult to stay in the van because there is a big parking in the center of leonidio , but you can find low price rooms if you want !
Nice video Mani ! I'm curious about the distribution of difficulty of the route you try during your trip ? It seems you tried lot of 7' degree classics of leonidio... is it a marginal part of your climbing time ? Personally, once warm up, I often try routes that i can do in 2-3 gos and if I feel strong, I go for a a muerte onsight attempt (it usually fails really fast)... so I put on the side easier onsigthing and really hard project in general, what about you?
Good question. I talked a bit more about the grades I climbed during this trip in the second part. But the question in general is interesting, should one focus more on trying hard stuff, and less of that, or more easy stuff onsights and flashs, but more of that?. I think I will make a video about this topic.
I got my hands on the 9a, felt pretty hard :) I think it's a boulder after 12 to 15 meters of steep power endurance 8a+ maybe 8b. I got to the top although I couldn't do 3 single moves, two of which would have been possible if I had put the effort in. But that one other move.. I think is a real killer and I think I need to get a bit stronger if I would want to climb this in a reasonable amount of time, so much I can say for sure.

Leonidio sounds like the dream place where you have great climbing almost all year. The routes in Hada look amazing, the one that you climb...

Alex Bush Hi , I am from Leonidio ! There is a cafe "Panjika" which all climbers meet there ! Is very nice and comfortable place .
