More like disintegrated. 🙄 Different strokes for different folks, I'm not an only-for-fur purist, but disappointing to see a nice pelt shredded to the point that the only thing left you can show is a close up of the face...Sigh!

Thank you for the Videos I have learned a lot off them. Is this your Electronic Call ? I have a little Story that is 1--% True and I'm sure Someone will Call Bull Shit. I was using an ICOTEC and I Lost the Remote. I Contacted ICOTEC by email and said I Lost it but would Like to Purchase a New Remote. I said in my email that I Lost it because the Remote Turns on very easily so it's either keep the Remote separate on uninstall the Batteries every Time I used it. I got back an email about How their is nothing Wrong with that Unit and that I wanted a Handout. I sent back an email that said I was wanting to Buy the Remote and that it was my Fault I Lost it and I never asked for a Free Item! I also said in my 2nd Reply that I wouldn't Buy a Damn Thing from they're Company now! So I'm in the market for a New Call. And by the way I'm not asking for a Handout!

We are fortunate to have developed a world where most families nation-wide have the luxury of paying rural families to raise and harvest their crops and meat.
We live sanitized lives in cities where none of the actual work of planting, growing, raising, harvesting, butchering or processing are ever seen, let alone participated in. In one generation the world transitioned from self-reliant to store-reliant. But the work our grandfathers and grandmothers would have done on a farm for their small families still has to be done for everyone living in cities.
Could you look your grandfather in the eye, knowing the work and sacrifice that bowed his back and shortened his life and call him vile?
The work was done for you.
The work is still being done for you.
Hunts like this are done on farm land, where farmers are raising the food you eat (and if you don’t eat meat, remember that 90%+ of the nation still does). Each coyote represents dozens if not hundreds of cows, chickens, gees, sheep and household pets. When they get too comfortable around farms and suburban homes they become a threat to the lives and livelihoods of the people doing the noble work of raising our food. Don’t draw a distinction between the farmers who grow plants, the ranchers who raise meat and the hunters that harvest predictors and prey animals, they’re usually all the same people.
These animals are beautiful and dangerous. No one knows that better than the people who spend their lives with them.
Keep in mind that most of the conservation money raised in this country to protect our wilderness and wildlife is paid for by these people you call vile, every hunting license and tag sold each year protects the very animals the hunters pursue.
It is vital that nature stays balanced, never forget that man is the natural apex predator and our responsibility is to keep the prey numbers high and the predator numbers low.
Susie, I love the respect for life that you were able convey with those 4 letters, I think they were a little harsh though.
Glorying in the hunt is a strange experience and can look distasteful from the outside, I understand that. I hope you can understand a little bit of why these men and the tools they sell and the tips they give are important in the right people’s hands. I certainly understand how they are irrelevant in other people’s hands :)

You must not have read the comment posted by the guy who said he has lost two cats and one dog to coyotes. He said he lives in an outer suburb of Los Angeles. He was thanking these guys for killing the coyotes. Plus you must not have read any of the comments posted by ranchers who talk about the huge loss of livestock they incur because of coyotes and wolves.
People with your self-righteous attitude make me think that you never venture out of your apartment where you have your face permanently glued to your laptop and haven't the first clue as to what the real world is all about.

Jim Yost First of all, after reading ALL 46 comments, the ones you mention aren’t on THIS thread. If they were, it wouldn’t change my opinion about human encroachment. Second, I’m a nature photographer by hobby, and that’s difficult to do from behind a laptop. Don’t assume you know anything about me (or others, for that matter). We have different opinions on this subject. It’s OK, we have that right.

I appreciate your comment. But I don’t share your perspective. This guy says “coyote hunting is my passion.” Anyone who gets that much joy out of killing is vile, in my opinion. No one needs to share it. Maybe if the two-legged predators didn’t encroach on every landmass on earth, these four-legged predators would have enough habitat to live their lives. No need to debate here. We’re not going to agree. But I do respect the farmers across the country.

I understand what you’re saying and I respect your opinion :) We are part of nature too, and the rush of hunting is a natural feeling. For the most part, humans stay near rivers and coast lines and most of the country is very sparsely populated.
I will respect your opinion and won’t push you any further on this point, but I have enjoyed talking with you about it.
