What kind of philosophy is that, which ignores reality?? Calculations for Rahu/Ketu are indeed backwards (for chara karaka, aspects) - and that is no problem bc their *main* movement is retrograde. No contradictions here. This convention is still justified, just as the 2nd house from a regular planet is always calculated moving forward, even though a planet can be retrograde, it doesn't change the general rule. In the same way, the 2nd from Rahu/Ketu is the 12th, even though sometimes they're direct. Your point about actual eclipses is excellent. Again, thanks so much!

Sir, brilliant content . I had a question if a planet has a longitudinal speed nearly equal to 0 but has a negative value. For example -.0012 then is the planet stationary.

Someone with stationary rahu will marry someone who had a previous marriage. The person with stationary Rahu will not marry second time (if other factors are not there).
My rationale: Lagna and Moon are the two fastest moving entities in a horoscope. Lagna/Ascendant is already been calculated Topocentricly. So why not Moon be calculated Topocentricly? And If we calculate Moon via Topocentric positions than why not the other Planets?

Sir,, I tested it on a chart,, rahu is showing -0.053deg/day.. Is it taken as stationary?? This person had 2nd marriage last month.
No, not stationary. Check another combinations will be there.
