As a Pro Shop manager and collector of broken sticks, I see more broken Bauer sticks then CCM. Bauer seems to maybe have been going too light recently and losing durability. Like the AG5NT, I swear I see one break a week at the rink. That Boron coating they advertise doesn't really make sense to me as boron in it's solid form is brittle, and the AG5NT definitely seems brittle.
@@matteocannizzo1693 same, been punishing a T7P for months now as D1 and it's been holding up quite well, same with the FT5P. I'm moving on to FT6P tho', but those sticks definitely are durable.
After using both the original Bauer, hyper light, even though Easton is the one who created it years ago, and the CCM trigger seven pro. The CCM sticks are way better in all aspects from shot power to accuracy to durability CCM takes the cup on that one. With that said, hands-down, out of all the top-of-the-line sticks, I’ve used the LX pro is by far the best stick you can buy for the money. The durability and shot power on those things are just phenomenal and I’ve had no issues so far with one of my LX pros that I’ve been using And I play several times a week anywhere from 5 to 10 games I have not use the LX to pro yet, but I can’t wait to get one when they go on sale
Now i really want to try the trigger 8 pro. I bought a hyperlite 2 last week. Played 2 games. scored 7 golas and had 6 assists. Im pretty happy with its performance
Is trigger 8 over the 7 worth the extra money in your opinion? I'm also leaning towards the FT6 Pro. I've used the triggers for 7 seasons now probably. The last one was the Trigger 6. Thanks for any help
Hello i have a question plz : i want to change from ccm to bauer : my ccm : CCM JETSPEED FT475 8.5 Regular. what is your recommandation for bauer , i dont have a store in my Region , thank you
Could you maybe make a review of the new Sherwood Rekker pro and the other lines of the stick? Like the legend 2 and 3 That would be awesome, love your videos keep it up
Depends. If you’re looking for a faster release, better playmaking, and better stick handling, then you should go for the CCM Trigger 8 Pro. But if you are looking for a more controlled, better accuracy shot, then the CCM FT6 Pro is the way to go!
The asymmetric taper is to help with quick release not for your hands. The shape of the shards and the reduced material in the shaft makes it flex lower I’m the stick
All I know is if the trigger a pro in the high for like two or anything like their previous versions, the trigger, a pro smokes, the hyper light out of the water. I own both an original Bauer, hyper light as Easton is the one who created the hyper light before they were bought out and I only trigger seven pro an 85 flex. The hyper light is it an 87 flex but the hyper lite just cannot compete with that trigger seven pro at all. I’ve been using the hyper light for a couple months now and just got my trigger seven pro in the mail on Friday or Saturday last week and I’ve used it twice now and the thing just fires fucking rockets from anywhere on the ice I’m shooting top shelf, speeders from the red line and unfortunately I already injured to people which was not on purpose but they tried to block my shots and that didn’t work out so well and I feel really bad about it
Thanks! I'm less interested in speed of changing blades and more interested in feel when skating (stiffness, power, agility, etc.) and factory steel options (i.e., is Step still king or have other brands caught up with their top end equivalents). Bauer claims the Powerfly is stiff up front and softer in the back. I've heard XS is still stiffer overall. Haven't heard much about the Shift Max because it usually isn't part of the conversation. Basically curious if the holder tech even matters or if people should just use whatever.
I manage pro shops and in my experience Bauer's current line up seems to be less durable then CCM. I see lots of Bauer's snapping mid game, but not too many CCM. Bauer seems more popular right now in my area, but the breaking ratio definitely seems worse for Bauer.

The trigger 7s are brittle as F. Especially the blade.
@@kingcurmudgeon8685I’ve had the trigger 7 pro I play d1 hs and it doesn’t break

We’ll drop a quick video on that

Is there much difference from the trigger 7 pro and 8 pro. Love the 7 pro not sure if the $80 price difference is worth it?
Just got the Hyperlite 2. Seems pretty darn good!
Why didn't you make a trigger 8 pro review?

My kid broke two hyperlites within 2 months of each other at the same exact spot as a squirt. We moved over to the trigger 7 and now the trigger 8 pro

Worth upgrading from Trigger 7 Pro?
just my opinion, no. the 7 pro is as good, if not better.

Any chance you have a video coming out about the new Powerfly holders compared to other holders (LS3, XS, Shift Max, and maybe even marsblade).
I don’t see why not. Haven’t made one since the XS holder came out and we have all three in-house. I’ll make it happen
