Great video! I stopped watching MMA after the Chuck Liddell era. There were just too many events and too many fighters to keep track of. @VoteSport videos are allowing me to see what I missed. I love how they pack their videos with tons of highlight clips.
I don't know about that. Ngannou is definately the most freakishly gifted heavyweight probably in combat sports history next to George Foreman, and Sonny Liston. Ngannou beat Cain quickly, but I don't think Ngannou is a better overall fighter than Cain was. Stipe is the most accomplished heavyweight of all time, but I think a prime Cain beats him 2 out of 3 times just due to Cain's style. Frank Mir is a legendary heavyweight, and one of the absolute greatest the division has ever seen, but a prime Cain was a ruthless savage with unlimited cardio and aggression. It would depend on whether Frank could take the punishment from Cain, and catch him in a submission. Frank did it to Lesnar, and Noguiera, so he definately had the ability to make it happen, but Cain was so great at maintaining balance, and scrambling quickly before his opponents could react to what he was doing, plus he used his ground and pound at the same time as his scrambling. All of those guys are the absolute best the division has ever had to offer. I would throw Couture in there as well, but Couture was more of a natural LHW, and was a bit undersized for a HW. Still, he was also one of the greats of that division.
@donavonhoward114 Ngannou beat both Cain and his greatest rival JDS very easily. No contest at all. Ngannou is not just crazy strong, he's also a better striker than both.
@@harrylarge9403 The reason Ngannou loses to prime Cain is style. He also loses to Cormier. Stipe who's not even a good wrestler dominated him. I mean Francis might get lucky and knock Cain out, but 4 out of 5 times both Cormier and Cain easily beat him. The evidence is there. Francis is a great fighter though. You realize JDS was NEVER the same after getting demolished by Cain right. Francis did not beat a prime JDS at all. JDS was not even close to the same guy when he fought Francis. He was worse in every way possible. I'm surprised you didn't know that about JDS. He fell off a ton.

Anyways a PLEASURE to watch,, You are a gift to our country!! 🙏 Stay healthy and love on your family.. Toast each 🌞 sundown with wine 🙏❤️
6:24 "It was too much even for Mario Yamasaki" 😂😂😂
I hope he gets either probation or a short term of no more than 1-2 years. I'd plead temporary insanity, if possible, considering what happened to his kid. He's a good guy, not a criminal.
Love the commentary!
This, like all the others I have seen, is very good! I want to thank you for helping develop a concise understanding of the people behind the sport. May my blessing find you. 🙏
All those charges against Cain need to be dropped. That is some BS.
A very nice documentation/video. Many thanks.
I actually forgot he got in all that trouble. I used to love watching Velasquez. When he took out Nogueira I was all-in. Werdum is no joke though, he took out how many heavyweights? Like, all of them? Can't fault Cain there. Battle of the Baddest motherfuckers
Yeah, the Werdum fight was very clearly affected by the sea level. That was a huge advantage to Fabricio. He definitely loses as sea level.
Much respect for this man … Regardless of what the law may say I would of done the same if not worse.. I wish u the best and keep u in my prayers not only u but ur whole family !!
Free Cain!! Whatever happens keep your head up high brother!! You've done well and you did the right thing
From Vietnam veteran 70-71
Que dios le bendiga!!🙏
38:52 Nearly 40 YO & still able to do that.. wow!
The last dis santos fight was wild
Some people say if he wouldn't have gotten the injueries he would have been the best ever.
Guys THE REASON he was so good is BEACAUSE he trained so long and hard.
He didn t know when to stop.
His biggest talents and injuries came to life had the same origin:
LONG, HIGHLY INTENSE training.
You can't separate the two.
No because his boxing was crap and nobody has seen his ground game but lol nobody could take Cain to the ground when he was champ lol
well it’s true, if he didn’t have any injuries he’d be the greatest hw ever. it’s like me saying if I was invincible no one could beat me. it’s a fact. if cain had no injuries he’d be the best hw ever.
So happy the normal narrator voice is back and it’s not the same from the Jiri video. Absolutely love this account and how it’s all ran.
The change in narrator voice was a negative for me.
So deserving of a video, the Dominick Cruz of Heavyweight he coulda been the easy Goat but injuries ruined the career😔
Honor and respect to Cain Velasquez. Doing what's right in and out of the octagon
A prime healthy Shane Carwin was the absolute scariest HW ever, most underappreciated also.
Maybe, he had very powerful hands. It's very hard to say who's really the goat in Heavy weight
Him and Cain were at one point almost booked by the UFC to fight.
@@pesyt1033
I'm not saying he's the G.O.A.T, but he was the scariest.
Always enjoyed his fights and his respect to the sport
Cain took the soul of JDS
Great video! I stopped watching MMA after the Chuck Liddell era. There were just too many events and too many fighters to keep track of. @VoteSport videos are allowing me to see what I missed. I love how they pack their videos with tons of highlight clips.
Hope his court case goes good for him and his family.
"No badmouthing or bravado, just two gentlemen"
Bring this back to the UFC, please.
God bless him
Keep the excellent profile videos coming
Free my boi Cain
Thank You for the invite
Only if stipe ...Ngannou ...and frank Mir arent fighting.
Frank Mir? He lost to Brock, JDS, and all kinds of guys.
Velasquez f***ing the juiced up lessner up! was frankly one of the best moments in fight history.
Big respect to Cain. He probably still is someone who's not to be f*cked with
"Velasquez looked as if he returned from a morning jog, while Junior appeared to have bumped into a beehive." LMAO!
