Interesting tip on mixing the paint. I've been looking for a dark grey metallic craft paint for a car build and can't find any. Just wondering if the Pearl White lightens the gray paint when mixed together?
Hey Steve, I typically get my craft paints from Michael’s. They seem to have a good selection from basic acrylic in different brands to the metallic variety. If I come across a dark grey I’ll let you know. The pearl white tends to lighten up the gray when mixed. I wanted to start off with a light gray color on the Falcon. Poured the pearl white in cup first and then a couple of drops of gray to tone the white down. Kept adding and mixing the gray until I was satisfied with the result. Next video I show how I dirty up the Falcon over the light gray.
