I have called my isp and they said it was because I had 2 bandwidth 2.4 and 5. They have combined it to 1 but it still has this issue
You could be blocked , it shows a exclamation next to wifi symbol. My Internet went from wonderful to terrible in a matter of days so trying to figure out what was happening I logged out into my TMobile account and I found over 15 devices that had access to my Internet only 7 of them ours. I disabled them all and that's when our devices showed connected with the exclamation mark but as soon as I re-enabled the devices I knew were ours it went away and back to wonderful. The next day my neighbors kids came over asking if our internet was out? Turns out my son gave the kids our password and then the kids gave it to their mommy and daddy.

I noticed that on my Samsung Galaxy they either flash like yours or stay permanently on (when my internet is working.) Why do they sometimes flash and other times be on without flashing? Does the flashing mean that the connection to the internet is not good?
This happens to me when using my public library's WiFi. A screen is supposed to pop up where I agree to Terms & Conditions, but this screen never pops up! So the exclamation point continues. I have 2 devices, it connects with one but not the other, so the problem isn't with the router.

I had this issue/symbol, and noticed with the phone in question I could no longer cast from TH-cam (on the android phone) to my TV. Turned off phone. Took power out of router. Left for 20s. Turned on router. Turned on phone. All ok!
@@twinkieboi9488unplug your modem and router. For your modem unplug everything even the white coax cable leave them unplugged for about 10 minutes then power them back on now go back to your phone click on connections and go to your wifi click on it then click advanced and switch it from dhcp to static then apply those settings and then switch it back to dhcp this should fix it

Flashing means it's in use as in "you are streaming content or using any app that is using the internet.

For me, it was the time and date which were wrong. I activated "automatic date and time" and it got fixed immediately.

This only happens on my phone when I use my laptop or ps4 this doesn't happen any ideas why ?
