You really can’t compare those since in fuser you just mix music you can’t play it as a track, but in DJ Hero you play mashup songs that you didn’t make

I don't like how the game doesn't understand relative minor/major keys. at 6:21 you're playing a rock your body backing track in Bb minor and the vocal track is Can't Stop The Feeling. In theory, Can't stop the feeling could just stay in C# major and it would still work, but they transposed it down to Bb minor and then it doesn't sound as good as it could if it was C# imo
I also noticed this after watching a handful of mixes from this game. I have concluded that the bassline sets the key. Another annoying thing is that no 1/2 times are used. Songs that were maybe originally 90 or 112 BMP are played at 150 BPM rather than using 75 BPM when it is obviously a better choice for slowing and swelling the mix. This is basically selling you songs that have already been queued to separate lead/bass/vocals/bridges combined with a transposition & beatmatch program. In my opinion, this game takes all the "art" out of DJing and seems a bit like making a painting with a stencil rather than a blank canvas.
@@macxin2415 you still can do some incredible shit with it lmao. It is a game, but still pretty well done. I just wish you could set the key and tempo for individual discs, that would essentially solve the issue.
