But what about the Bhuddists, the Jews, the Zoriasterists, the Islamists, the Native Americans, on and on ? All believe in a higher power. Christianity always takes the position that it is the only one. Maybe you are wrong. How do you know? Is the Bible the only religious book to be used? Written several hundred years after Christ, revised umpteen hundred times. And our country was not founded on a religious basis. True, most of the founding fathers claimed a religion, but not all. Our country was intended to be sectarian with definite division between church and state. Not in the schools or governing bodies. A higher power, yes. Prayer in appropriate places, yes. But all religions must be able to worship as they see fit. Not just yours.
You know what I love about Brother Jack?? He stays so busy talking to people, being interviewed, book tour, etc. yet he's always at his church on Sundays and Wednesdays to feed his flock unlike so many other pastors that have fill-ins constantly so that they can grift and travel on parishioner donations. The religious authorities (government) were determined to stop them from teaching about Jesus; however, Peter said, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19-20). Later, the rulers confronted the apostles again and reminded them of their command to not teach about Jesus, but Peter responded, “We must obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29)

We started watching Pastor Jack when covid hit, and churches were closed in CANADA. Do you realize many Christian Preachers and Scholars that are Christian go against what Jack preaches and goes against his theology. Yes that is how we are taught to pray as Christians..with REPENTANCE and THANKSGIVING, and then ask our requests! I could never ask my Lord for my prayer if I feel I have any unrepentant sin,and I ask the Lord to show me if I am in sin I cannot “see”..He knows your heart, when you come in truth.. Jesus has done divine acts of providence in my life, when I needed it more then anything- Lord knows- I cried to Him and put all my faith in Him..my prayer was answered the next day. And he also did not display the fruit of the spirit especially when he was invited. How to you bring other faiths to the Gospel when you are not doing it out of love for your brothers and sisters. He stays so busy talking to people, being interviewed, book tour, etc. yet he's always at his church on Sundays and Wednesdays to feed his flock unlike so many other pastors that have fill-ins constantly so that they can grift and travel on parishioner donations. Jack is a testimony to how it's done and he's faithful. What a blessing he has been and continues to be!

We started watching Pastor Jack when covid hit, and churches were closed in CANADA.

This prayer needs to be prayed in Ottawa. The sin of the liberal government and our prime minister is very great.
Pastor Jack knowing went against the rules set on prayer in congress and in doing so went against what God says himself in Romans 13.1. Do you realize many Christian Preachers and Scholars that are Christian go against what Jack preaches and goes against his theology. No one can find out if he has had any formal education on Christian Theology and feel he has not.
@@littlebird7226I think, dear one, based on his belief that he answers to a higher authority than the one of established protocol. In the beginning the First Continental Congress prayed to the Creator and begged God to bless the Union. The checks and balances were immense and the strength of that document stands today even against the on slaught of those who would undermine its integrity. Would you rather he pray to baal or some other false God that cannot hear or answer. Some day soon we will all face these choices as we are even now with the gay and transgender issues and if you speak against it your liable to be jailed.
Also, he may be a good shepherd because he is not filled with theological theoretics. Peter was a fisherman.

Yes that is how we are taught to pray as Christians..with REPENTANCE and THANKSGIVING, and then ask our requests! I could never ask my Lord for my prayer if I feel I have any unrepentant sin,and I ask the Lord to show me if I am in sin I cannot “see”..He knows your heart, when you come in truth.. Jesus has done divine acts of providence in my life, when I needed it more then anything- Lord knows- I cried to Him and put all my faith in Him..my prayer was answered the next day. Out of absolutely nowhere. It was odd, but not beyond God!!!❤ He truly does love and care about His Children!! I know this, like I know I am breathing air.
