- My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for close to a year now. Most people call these "LDR"s which I find funny. But I made my journey from southern Illinois to where Nicholas recently moved... Social Circle, Georgia Illinois to surprise him for his birthday! He had no clue I was coming because I have class on Tuesdays and his birthday falls on a Tuesday this year. So he was surprised. Also, he thought the suprise was a telescope so that was pretty funny.

aw I did this one year with my fiancé and drove down with my friends initially to Virginia to see another friend during spring break, but I went to surprise him. I literally FaceTimed him while he was on military base and told him where I was. He couldn’t believe it. This is adorable!

@@mushroomlover479 Omg yikes I had no idea what I was in for while writing this.. it wasn’t the happy ending I expected. All I can say is to really I mean reallyyy get to know your long distance partner in person before you decide to be with them. I always thought I did and “that’d never happen to me” cause I knew him since I was a kid online....
But people are different when they can’t just press a button and block you for a day or simply ignore you tell they can think up a lie. People are different in person.

Oh I know. Me and my partner pretty much are on face time 24/7 unless when we have school or hanging out with family. I 100% know that they are who they say. It took me awhile to trust them because of trust issues. I appreciate the concern. I do very much know my partner well tho.
