You just saved our entire cross country trip!!! Radio only played in the back of the RV and not in the chassis! This completely fixed it:))) thank youuuu

I’m glad your son helped you solve the problem. He’s quite a handy guy to have around. You said “the radio sucks”. Stuff like that drives me nuts so even tho I doubt it would be inexpensive, I would probably get it replaced. I need my music & the ease of using the touch screen is really important when you’re driving.

Start engine and make sure it is still working. I also wanted to thank you for sending me dealer info. However I live in Las Cruces NM they don't have a spark with Standard Trans ether. I have friend I sold cars with that is Sale's Manager at Bravo Chevrolet here in town, the closest one we can find is in California. So I will most likely have to do as you did with your Great Class C RV and order one. Its going to take 12 weeks to get it. But I'm like you I have the time to get what I want. You was also right when you told me my 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 was worth a lot more than the car, I'm going to come out like a bandit. So Thanks again.

Thank you!! My Axxera radio wasn't working either. Reset it and now it works. Like you said, it's cheap and it doesn't work real well but it works. And, by the way, you get back to the home screen by touching the little "house" icon on the screen. Thanks again!
Sir, you are a genius. I could not figure out what the hell I did to stop the radio from working in my RV, even going so far as to pull out the fuse to check and inadvertently pulling the ignition fuse without realizing it at the same time. Next thing you know, I had a radio that wouldn't turn on and an RV that wouldn't start. In an act of desperation, I watched your video and figured out the radio part. Then I put 2 & 2 together and realized that I pulled the ignition fuse while trying to fix the damned radio. What a comedy of errors, oh my gosh. Anyways, thank you for posting your video, I am very grateful and better informed.
I have a AVM80 no camera no power. Just fixed it today to. 10 amp blade fuse on the back of the radio. Checked all fuses. Camper, Chassis, and reset button. It was the fuse on the back of mine. Works good.
The Axxera radio does suck but your video shows your tow button to the left of your radio. You mentioned before that you did not have that button. It has a picture of a trailer on it. That is what you need to have on when you are towing Sparky. Power on...
I guess that's what they gave to you when you buy a base model motorhome you can always upgrade though Pioneer makes a really nice touch screen stereo with all the bells and whistles I had to completely redo the whole entire stereo system in my RV just cuz I wanted to upgrade to something that sounded a little better glad you got it figured out👍👍
I down graded my 10" tablet/radio to a cd playing radio. After the cold boot the unit would be dead in an hour. I added a separate monitor for the cameras. I still have not got around to check to see if the battery in the tablet is dead. And the tablet re-set access was even harder to find on mine.
We contacted the radio’s tech support and they sent an email with a file that downloaded a file using a USB. This fixed our radio. You might want to contact tech support.

Randy did your radio go off by itself while in use mine goes off I’ll turn it back on it goes off again . Soon as I get back by my rv I’ll try the reset hopefully it works but think I have a different problem but thanks for the help finding the reset button
I have this crappy radio in my 2016 Thor freedom elite. It doesn't turn on and I want a good one.The backup camera is the most important thing because of safety.Of course I want a decent radio with features of modern units have. Can you suggest a plug and play unit for this junk
sometimes when you you buy the base model of anything a hammer is required equipment for fixin it. The good news is even a thief would not steal that piece of sh*t Thor RV radio!
2015 Thore Axix Vegas 24.1 owner here - these DEFAULT Systems SUCK - I can't turn mine off so it kills my batteries even after installing top of the line BattleBorn LiFePO4 packs - this radio/entertainment /backup camera system has NEVER worked right - almost got stranded yesterday boondocking (cause I ca't turn it off) had it not been for a hand held powerpack Jump starter. I'm yanking the whole system now tthat's I'm home - hate it hate it hate it and relocating the BU camera screen top side instead (where it should be) vs looking down changing lanes or backing up - what a Dumb idea- other than that love the coach, got everything else going on!
I got rid of that junk. First the TV died also an axxera, I bought a samsung.. then the Axxera radio volume button wouldnt work.. I pulled that junk out and replaced it with a nice Sony...
I have very dry hands and notice at times I can touch the radio screen and no response so as a test I moistened a finger and touched the screen and it instantly responded. Are your hands dry Rusty?
@@rusty78609 , I just tried it again two fingers on the same hand first one does nothing as far as the radio goes and the finger next to it I tapped a moistens cloth then touched the same command and the radio instantly responded. Go back to the first one and nothing again. How’s that for science, haha? Have a pleasant beer thirty.

This manual will outline the stereo features and functions quite well. Also in your video you were touching the screen in areas it would not take you to the Home Screen. Touch the home icon in upper left and it will take you home. You also did touch the AV input button on the stereo. Thor does not use the AV input for anything. When you touched it in your video, a blue screen appeared that said no signal. It’s because there is nothing plugged into it. I don’t think you would have much trouble with this stereo if you review the manual. Hopefully you are taking full advantage of the USB mirror function for your smart phone. i replaced my Axxera with a Pioneer, and the factory ford Speakers with Rockford Fosgates, best upgrade ever.

Yep, yep. Very frustrating. What is really strange is my touch screen on my iPad works better on my right hand versus my left hand. I am right handed.

The real way to fix that radio is to beet that screen in with a hammer an get a nice kenwood touchscreen radio installed instead

That’s looks like the eject button for the microSD card slot next to it.
My reset button for electronics is a ball peen hammer. Works every time. :)

I think as you own that longer , you are going to find out that the radio is not the only thing that Thor found the cheapest item to install .
The home button is on the top left
There's a 10 amp fuse in the back of the radio. My son in law just found it. The fuse looked good but when we replaced it, the radio worked.
