6:24 they’re wearing hanbok which is traditional Korean clothing which also fits in with the message of the song of loving yourself and them showing off their culture in the idol mv :)
FYI: BTS has their inhouse choreographer, Son Sung Deuk, who choregraphed their earlier routines and directs all the routines that they've commissioned from others. Some of the are as follows... American choreographers like Keone and Mari Madrid (E.G. Dope, Fire, Not Today, DNA), Siena Lalau (e.g. On, Dionysus), Brian Puspos (e.g. Butterfly, Serendipity), Nick Joseph (e.g. Butter) to name a few. Then there's Japanese choreographer, Rie Hata (e.g. Idol, Anpanman, Airplane Pt 2), also Norewegian choreographers Suleman Malik, Bilal Malik, and Nasir Sirikhan for (e.g. Save Me). There are more. A lot of these guys do choreo for other kpop groups and are part of world renowned dance crews that you'd recognize if you're familiar with the whole hip-hop dance scene. J-hope learns the routines very fast and helps the members perfect them.

Yes jimin is an acrobate he's blackbelt in taekwondo and fluent in kendo for 8 years and haipkydo and Chinese martial arts too 😱 and jkook is redbelt in taekwondo too, jimin make all acrobaties of the choreography in general
Jimin with the blond hair. He's a black belt in Taekwondo, he learnt hapkido, as well as Chinese martial arts . He incorporates jumps and leaps from that training in his dancing.
5:33 jhope helps them to learn choreography sometimes but they also have an official choreographer ( Son Sungdeuk)
J-hope and Jimin are the main dancers and they have different choreographers like Son Sung Deuk who choreographed some of their earlier routines.

Wonderful reaction guys. Love how you paid attention to small details. For this performance it was really special because of the location where they performed and they wore modern form of their Korean outfits. We love JK's man bun. Shout out to their stylist for bringing their A-game. By the time this performance was done, they had done IDOL at least 10 different times but each time, they made us feel like it was new or special. Thank you all for taking the time to continue checking them and hopefully other groups out. FUN FACT: that “background” is a real place. BTS performed live at Korea’s Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first representative legal palace of the Joseon Dynasty. For this particular performance, they performed Idol in tradition Korean Hanboks in front of Geunjeongjeon, a place in the whole palace where kings used to host meetings and receptions with foreign envoys. Amazingly, this was released during “Chuseok” (kinda like Korea’s thanksgiving) which explains the significant appearance of the moon. The Cultural Heritage Administration even explained that BTS’ performance was originally designed to promote the sixth Royal Culture Festival. BTS’ performances were filmed at the palace for that reason.
Another fun fact: Non-cultural performances such as kpop-idols performances in this place are very limited to the point it’s kinda prohibited(??). So the fact that BTS got to perform here is a BIG DEAL. I believe only 2 non-cultural performances have been held there (one is a kpop event where bts attended as a younger group, and this one). [not sure, correct me if i’m wrong armys]

Okay J-Hope is the lead dancer, but he is not their primary choreographer. He and Jimin also help the others with learning. They use different choreographers now. In the beginning Son Sung Deuk was their only choreographer. He is the performance director now. Okay, I need you to look at their first video showcasing their skills. It will blow your minds.

They do hire choreographers, mostly from LA. The are currently working with The Lab team. The BigHit in-house performance directors and dancers learn the choreo via video first, then break it down for the members to learn.
But while performing on stage and shows, JHope is the director who they follow to make things easier.

Iim glad to see guys watching them, they speak a lot about being true to yourself. suga (the rapper and producer) has talked about not giving a crap about standards, societal standards of masculinity, you should just worry about if you love yourself. He deals with depression, anxiety etc but hes doing much better over the years and you can hear it in his music as Agust D (not as SUGA)

Thats not a set thats actual palace grounds, namjoon in a behind the scene spoke about how the path in the center is not meant for anyone but the king. and he felt weird about standing on there with their stage now but they are honored to be able to perform there. You do know they are presidential cultural envoys right.

Maybe even show them some introduction vids if they’re interested to learn more. In my opinion the best ones to watch are from the channels xCeleste (she also has a lot of other great informational vids on the group’s achievements and on ARMY), The Asian Theory (they have an updated 2021 version) and Ida S (this one you get a bit of each members input and roles in the group). Again great reaction…you guys are awesome!
