I too Kris share your passion for Faheys truly unorthodox style. Most definitely an innovative master. I saw John many years ago at Northwestern university circa 1970 in Evanston Il. It was a very interesting evening. He appeared on stage with a partially consumed bottle of some kind of "elixir" sat down on his chair uttered the words hello and then proceeded for the next two hours mesmerising us lucky ones and me to a night of Fahey magic. I totally understand the power of his music that so captivated you. When he finished playing he simply said goodbye. He may be gone but certainly is not forgotten by me. Love your touches of his work.
