This podcast was created before the Los Angeles area fires. My thoughts on a drone "army" to put out wild fires is getting more viable yearly (unfortunately). It is fairly easy to develop a drone that can carry water and target fires but to make them autonomous and to be able to work no matter the domain and environmental factors, is where General Intelligence/my technology is greatly needed. One would think Power companies, Insurance companies and Government agencies would band together to provide funding and make this happen. IT IS tech that is available today and we can change this nightmare of firestorms into a past issue. My heart goes out to those affected. I've read and seen so many accounts of those hurt by this devastation, I apologize if I seem really bothered by the fact that this technology isn't in place already. If anyone wants to help develop this tech, don't hesitate to reach out. I don't know how much more of a wake-up call we need?
When I first met Tim in 1969 Tim he used the word 'neuron'. I did not know that word. We were in 6th grade. Tim has always been innovate and impressive.
