Enjoyed the video and the last one as well. Lots to do. Always takes a little longer than what one thinks at the beginning. Loose bolts, a farmer's nemesis! Thanks.
Doing the maintenance this time of year is smart. Waiting until it's time to use it will give you a headache. I know a couple of guys that wait and are always crying the blues. Another great video. Hello Granny.
I would go ahead and replace all the hoses on the cp690 ours got old and started blowing up and you lose all the coolant in about 30 secs. The one your dad didn't want to replace is the first one that blew. Happened twice this year.
Took me a solid week to replace every single spindle and mositure pad on a 9976. I then learn not to put the spindles in to tight because then you gotta go back and find which one is to tight🤦
I'd change all three hoses and flush system change thermostat add new coolant. Awesome vid as always keep the action coming. Definitely look you up at the next one. Stay safe!!
Danial, I know what your dad is going through. Myself I have three tore up disks in my lower back. Two of which are also herniated. Dr's put me on a pain pill and a muscle relaxer. It helped a little bit. What helped me the most was anti-inflammatory's. The others, I still hurt, Just did not care. 4 Advil did the job. It took the swelling of that herniation out. Just adding my two cents in. It truly works for me.
Good morning Grannie, hope/pray you are doing well. Looks like DAD is moving pretty well even with a bad back. Always enjoy watching the farm work. Enjoy your day. SWEET HOME ALABAMA.. Have a RT Day, War Eagles/Roll Tide
"The most common cause for radiator hose collapse is a vacuum issue caused by a faulty radiator cap. ... As the engine cools, if fluid cannot return to the tank, this will also cause a vacuum. Additionally, it is possible that your radiator is clogged or dirty, but if that's the case, you're likely to have some overheating."
Dad, I had a herniated disc. It required surgery. Recovery time was short, and I haven’t had any problems since then. They don’t repair themselves, Dad.
Yeah big brother needs to know all your data so they can keep the markets back. Daniel tell your Dad he needs to go sit in the massage seat in the Jd for the rest of the day. Maybe it will help his back a little.

Why not pull a tank wagon behind the mounted planter? When your'e done planting just unhook and the tractor is clean for the rest of the year.
Hi Granny! Merry Christmas!
I was having the same radiator hose problem on my truck and the radiator cap was the issue. Not allowing the system to vent
Took me a solid week to replace every single spindle and mositure pad on a 9976. I then learn not to put the spindles in to tight because then you gotta go back and find which one is to tight🤦

Yep, I'd check the radiator cap also.
PA looks just like the character Jim off the movie "The Man from Snowy River" Lol
Hard to keep your dad down. Hopefully he moderates enough to let his back heal.
Love all your videos, tell dad to take care of back have had herniated disc and is no fun.
Will the up down shift of your front axle end up rubbing/put pressure on the hoses when the tractor rocks through drawls.
Good morning
How close is that streak to the hood? Thanks

Does the Cotton Picker take a lot more maintenance than the grain combines. Love your videos. Try not to miss any.
Got to say Daniel the disc problem doesn't seem to be slowing Dad down. 😅
Did you buy that 8r ??
Were they out of orange hats when your dad got that one ? Get dad an electric scooter !
there is nothing more debilitating than a lower back disc issue. I can relate to what Dad is going through.
😎😎😎😎😊😊😊👍
Johnny tribble you getting older you had a lot less gray when I saw you last
I assume the farm is making money? Take time to clean up all the trash around . Then plan to build an updated modern shop. I like to watch.
