Surprised the valve wasn't addressed when it happened. It must have taken more time to bodge than fix properly. Your repair shows promise. I would imagine if you had used professional repairers, the cost would have severely curtailed any profit.
Im on the verge of setting mine on fire with petrol to get the insurance LOL , Will never buy a Fiat again too many problems , the engine is good 1.2 8valve but the rest of the car is not good have had to put over £1000 into the car and will be lucky to get £1500 back when its sold , Next car i will buy will be a little Hyundai i10 as those old i10s never seem to go wrong , yes they look awful and are granny mobiles but in the real world in 2024 Britain we need reliable transport ,if i lived in Italy or a nice hot country i would restore mine but the weathers always bad in the UK we need rugged cheap transport here like they use in Russia those old Lada`s for example lol
I had this car put a bunch of money into it, had only 40k miles, never run as good as I thought it could, sold it with a loss, not a good car honestly, it’s more a ford ka than s fiat, very plasticky, weird in turns, they all leak trans fluid with no fix!, engine oil from the cover, pcv can’t keep the sensors clean, poor suspension, almost impossible not to clutch ride in slow traffic
