This was a fresh change with no cheating significant other. Instead it’s a life lesson for Hozumi thinking he had to solve all his problems all by himself. Asking for help is never a sign of weakness.

When the person you love is in the state they are in and they don't tell you the truth or only tell you half the truth like what happened here, your first instinct is that the company is doing something bad and dark. It is not surprising, because in most cases like this, the company is the first suspect. Furthermore, we have to put ourselves in their shoes, it is obvious that anger goes to your head and often blinds you from reality and makes you irrational, but it is because you cannot stand that injustice and pain of your loved one. But the good thing is that she realized her mistake, she realized that she was wrong, she knew how to apologize sincerely and she knew how to face the consequences for her irrational actions before, especially before knowing the truth... NOT EVERYONE DOES THAT. Just look and compare her to Hozumi's parents and you can see the huge difference. By the way, those two "guys" or rather, those two almost criminals, are horrible parents and deserve the weight of the law.

Well, the wife actually was rightfully angered and was ignorant of what happened. I would be, too, if it was my wife that collapsed from overwork. She didn’t like him overworking and wanted him healthy. Yukiko was hurt and angered, which wasn’t something that humility needed. All it needed was to find the truth, and they did, as she apologized for thinking that they did it. They helped her since they know how much she cared about him.
Fate of Hozumi's parents: *They got captured by loan sharks by the time they tried to escape and the next few days, they were found dead floating and mutilated in the ocean because loan sharks took most of their organs and brain and sell it to the black market.*
And that's just in the living, wait till they enter the afterlife.

This is definitely different, because it’s not the job itself she’s complaining about. Reason why she complained is because her husband was overworking. She complained about it because it’s hurting her husband, which actually makes it better for her reasoning. She never knew he was overworking.
Fate of Hozumi parents:Later on Hozumi parents are caught by the loan sharks. Shocking truth is that one of his friends are loan sharks without Hozumi knowing they are. Most of them looks at them with raging anger and decided to tell their boss to fine them $300.000 dollars for hurting Hozumi and almost on the verge of dying from overwork. Their boss of course apporved it but in exchanged they ordered them to give them the money to Hozumi for damages they caused to Hozumi. Hozumi gets a call from their friends and when he meet them there is a scary man with them. Hozumi realizes that they are loan sharks are scared but his friends tells him not to worry. Their boss despite how scary he looks he acutally has a heart of a gold and he feels bad for him for what he's been through. He managed to convince Hozumi to take the money he deserves but he tells him not to tell anyone of course he agrees. Their boss give Hozumi a final advice to him is to be kind and never become naive and fight for what's right for yourself and the sake of others. They both bowed down to each other and his friends are happy to see him healthy and well and say their farewells. Meanwhile for the toxic parents they are working with extreme conditions the father ended up carrying wood everyday and the mother has her situation worse than him she is forced to become their guinea pig for medicine development.
