No that's not lipsync.. They actually switch off other contestant's mic during a performance to avoid disturbance. The delay was actually for the technical team to start her mic.

Even the line that sayli sang was wrong its reet instead of preet which pawan sang rightly afterwards. So it can happen with anyone.
And the feel and charm that pawan has got in his voice is amazing. Pawan fans are always with him no matter what. So all the support and votes for him undividedly.
Audience wants to see him as winner not only within india but outside of it also but don't know about the makers they are after a female winner. I watched it few times to clear this doubt. In the beginning, when Pawan stopped singing the song, sayli sang the song but no sound. Later we all see her encouraging Pawan to sing with a gesture while singing the sing suddenly mike became on. She realized it and proceeded to sing properly holding the mike.
