SPOILERS AHEAD! What really pissed me off about the ending is she basically started a civil war in her agency because she didn't want to leave after a year, only to leave after a year! If she was going to start her own agency anyway, all she had to do was ... NOTHING! Bank your cash, figure out which people you want to poach and leave.
I totally agree with you. I also felt they rushed the ending. I was confused on the naming of the president. I have to go back and watched what agreement the grandfather made.
this is my opinion. The war she started was not about leaving after one year. But it was the way about how she was leaving anyway. She wanted to leave on her own terms. Being at the top of the game, and not throw the small door as the other guys intended her to.
