I remember watching this as a kid- it was great! So many great rides. Some of these guys were spurring the bulls like they were on a bareback horse. It was incredible to watch- thanks for posting this.
Everything from about 97-01 was the best time to be alive. The music, sports, lack of technology, yet just enough that it didn’t run peoples lives. Riding bulls and playing baseball throughout high school in this time period was hands down the best. Loved watching Ty, the Hart brothers, Ross Coleman, Tater Porter, Shivers…. There’s too many awesome memories to recall
To hear donny gay say "he's a bounty bull out there in mesquite" brings back memories.. mesquite rodeo use to come on every week on tbs lol those were the times

Who's the ox bandit? Do you know the name of older black rider with a winning smile and so grateful to ride. In 1997, 98, 99? Driving crazy can't remember his name nor find on Google.

Dillenger is by far my favorite bull that i wouldve loved to get on with little yellow jacket coming in second even though both of them were young here. I miss riding before i went to the Air Force.
This was my senior year in high school rodeo, I remember going out to the “G” man’s school out in Joplin Missouri, was best time in my life👍 nothing like rodeo’n and being on the road 💪❤️❤️ I miss it!!! I will never forget talking about this round back n the day. I agree gotta be hands down on of the best rounds EVER!!

It might be the greatest night? For the bulls. Looks like the bulls won this match. Im still waiting to see the great part. So far, 91 is the highest score . Only 4 cowboys made 8 out of 16 rides so far. WAY TO GO BULLS! I still say the bulls won, but the cowboys did save the best for last. Some good rides in the second half.

Thank you sooooo much for the memories of this great sport!
Those were the days. You couldn’t pick your bull you had to ride what you drew. Best night of bull riding hands down.
Yea but 90 point rides in this video would only be 87-88 point rides now
You still draw bulls today you just get to pick based on position in the final round
