I'm not a Blink but still I know that Jisoo has become the most successful brand ambassador in the world (2022) leaving behind celebrities like Mia Khalifa, Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner. And she became the highest earning asian celebrity with her instagram posts for brands endorsements leaving behind Taehyung of BTS who was at the top before her. And her drama was a huge hit internationally too which ofc must have earned her a lot of money.
Dior became the most successful brand of 2022 thanks to her and Cartier doubled the money paid by Dior to secure her as their global ambassador, so ofc that makes her one of the richest BP member.

The only thing any outsiders (i.e. the general public) can know is that all of the members are doing quite well financially and have really good endorsement income streams. The frequent attempts to rank them according to wealth are literally all just people guessing, speculating, theorizing, hypothesizing and estimating without solid evidence. I guess it's due to Kpop fans' obsession with ranking everything and everyone all the time. Fact is we don't know. Their contracts are mostly confidential and secret. Occasionally, some anonymous "insider" here or there claims to know something about something, but nobody knows who the "insider" is, so it could just be an unreliable person or just a non-existent person.

Nothing in this "news" report contains enough solid details to reach any conclusions at all. Nobody "knows" what each members' endorsement contracts pay. Nobody knows how each member has invested their income. Nobody knows whether any members have taken out loans. Many of the deals the members have had during the past couple of years are not even mentioned. This news report literally only refers to just a few of the possible income factors and basically admits that they don't really even know what the actual income amounts are for those factors. Things not even mentioned or considered include many, many things. Just for example, Rose did a huge campaign all last year for one of Korea's biggest department store chains (Home Plus) that nobody talks about outside of Korea, but it's a big deal in Korea. I'm just citing that as one example because I could give several examples for each member of things that the report misses or mostly skips just because they don't have any data. If Jisoo is the wealthiest, that's great. But my point is that nothing in this "news" story really proved anything. Personal income from music pales in comparison to endorsements. Remember that YGE gets a bigger percentage from music related revenue than it does from other revenues. So Lisa and Rose were actually making less with their solo projects, while Jisoo was free to do endorsements. With the current tour, expect their net worth to be even much higher.

Kpop fans are literally OBSESSED with ranking everyone and everything all the time. Kpop media knows this and encourages this mentality by constantly creating "rankings" lists...often based on nothing but guesses. It's like the silly "brand reputation" ranking that comes out every month. The source is some "institute" that nobody can confirm even exists as a real institute. It changes its name often and, at best, all it does is do name counts on Korean search engines on a laptop and then claims to do some analysis (never explained in detail) to make up a ranking list. But Kpop fans go crazy for it every month and Kpop media gets hundreds of thousands of clicks and views from it.

It's not a hard fact that jisso is now the richest member. Like she did a blockbuster drama. Dramas can earn a lot of money. And kdrama actors are paid in millions. I don't think she bought a jet. It wouldn't even make sense as an investment and would be very impractical to own. There is no evidence of her actually using her own private jet ever. She always travels on commercial air or on chartered private jets from the Kimpo business terminal. That story about her buying a jet was based on just one guy's tweet...and he was probably just joking around. But it's correct to point out that people really don't know who is the wealthiest. It's all just guessing with almost no evidence and of course there is no analysis that takes into account spending, debt, assets received from family and so on.
