The previous co-ed groups had issues regarding their attitude and personality, but from what I've seen from kard since pre-debut, I don't think kard is like that. And plus, kard has their kind of signature sound already and they sure do have talent, whereas previous co-ed groups were extremely idol-like and focused more on the co-ed part than their actual music.
I don't think it'll happen, KARD is doing well but it's an exception. Mainly because koreans are really sensitive about dating stories,etc for idols and so they're less invested if it's a co-ed group. I hope KARD do well ^^ All the songs I heard so far have quite a similar beat/genre but this is working really well for me so far so :D
Sanae Judd Kard is not an exception. They are not well-knowned in Korea at all. Their fans are mainly us, international fans because most of them can speak English fluently and had collaborated with TH-cam Kpop channels like JREKML. The only co-ed group (duet actually) that I know that is well-known in Korea is AkMu and they are brother and sister.
