    Thank you for your super easy to understand video. Excellent work!
    I have some questions:
    1. In your example delta connection is rated at 230v phase to phase at 50hz. I'm curious as to where this scenario might apply?
    I think the USA use a 230v 3 phase supply, but this is at 60hz. Is there a 50hz 230v phase to phase supply anywhere in the world?
    2. In your example I can see the motor is fairly large. Since this motor would not be compatible with a star delta starting system. I assume the only way to reduce the current draw on start-up would be to fit an inverter drive?
    3. So if I see a motor which is rated at 400v Delta, and 690v Star, does that mean it IS suitable for a star/delta starting system? (As 690 divided by root 3 gives around 400v)

    Thanks. Very clear, very useful. But I expected you to continue the explanation on the star-delta starting requirement. In your example we, clearly, cannot use star-delta starting. But what should the motor nameplate be to be able to use star-delta.

      Thanks a lot. And that's a good question: For star-delta starting in our power grid (400 V phase to phase) the motor should be suitable for 400 V in _delta connection_ (hence 690 V in star connection). Greets, Andreas
