This is 5 outcomes i think it will happen if the HMHS Britannic had missed the mine and avoided sinking:
1. Extended Service and Role in World War I: With its continued survival, the Britannic would have likely remained operational as a hospital ship for the duration of World War I, contributing significantly to medical support for wounded soldiers. Its continued service might have influenced subsequent designs and strategies for hospital ships.
2. Post-War Commercial Operations: Surviving the war intact, the Britannic could have returned to commercial passenger service as a luxurious ocean liner. It might have competed with other liners on transatlantic routes, catering to affluent travelers.
3. Maritime Safety and Regulations: The Britannic's survival could have influenced maritime safety practices and regulations. Lessons learned from its near-miss might have prompted earlier improvements in ship construction and safety measures, potentially impacting the future safety of ocean travel.
4. Historical Narratives and Personal Stories: The survival of the Britannic would have altered the personal narratives of those on board, both survivors and casualties. Families, communities, and historical accounts would have reflected a different story, changing the collective memory of the event.
5. Architectural and Engineering Legacy: Continued operation of the Britannic could have spurred further advancements in ship design and technology. Its unique features and adaptations as a hospital ship might have influenced subsequent shipbuilding practices and innovations in maritime engineering.

Olympic luckily didn’t sank but instead lasted the longest out of all the sisters

This will not be critical, at most the ship’s propeller blades will bend

if she did she might have the chance to become a ocean liner

If the HMHS Britannic, sister ship to the Titanic, had missed the mine that sank her in the Aegean Sea during World War I, the implications would have been notable both during the war and in subsequent years. Here are some potential outcomes:
1. **Continued Service**: The Britannic would have continued its role as a hospital ship during World War I, potentially saving more lives due to its large capacity and advanced medical facilities. Its continued operation could have contributed significantly to the war effort.
2. **Post-War Legacy**: After the war, the Britannic might have been returned to its intended role as a luxury ocean liner. This could have allowed the White Star Line to capitalize on the ship's size and luxury, helping the company recover financially and compete more effectively with other shipping lines.
3. **Maritime Safety and Design**: The sinking of the Britannic provided valuable lessons in ship safety and design. If the Britannic had avoided the mine, some of these lessons might not have been learned until later. This could have delayed improvements in ship design and safety procedures.
4. **Historical and Cultural Impact**: Like the Titanic, the Britannic has a place in maritime history, albeit a less famous one. If the ship had survived the war, its story might have become one of resilience and service rather than tragedy. The cultural narrative surrounding the Olympic-class ships would have been different, with the Britannic perhaps gaining more recognition for its wartime service.
5. **Technological and Operational Impact**: The continued operation of the Britannic would have provided more data on the performance and durability of large ocean liners, potentially influencing future shipbuilding practices and designs. Its service during and after the war could have set new standards for hospital ships and luxury liners alike.
6. **White Star Line's Fortunes**: The White Star Line suffered from the loss of the Titanic and Britannic. If the Britannic had survived, the company might have been in a better financial position post-war, potentially affecting its eventual merger with the Cunard Line.
7. **Medical and Humanitarian Contributions**: As a hospital ship, the Britannic played a crucial role in evacuating and treating wounded soldiers. Its continued service could have had a significant humanitarian impact, providing care and evacuation for many more soldiers throughout the war.
8. **Alternative Incidents**: Avoiding the mine would have kept the Britannic in service, but it's possible the ship could have faced other wartime dangers, such as torpedoes or different mines. The ongoing risk of naval warfare means the ship's story could have taken another dramatic turn.
In conclusion, if the Britannic had missed the mine, it would have continued to contribute significantly to the war effort and potentially have a more substantial post-war legacy. The maritime safety lessons learned from its sinking might have been delayed, and the White Star Line's fortunes could have been positively affected. The cultural and historical narrative surrounding the Britannic and the Olympic-class ships would also be markedly different.

Another theory: Britannic had struck the mine but managed to beach on time on the island of kea
Yes that's more possible
@More_MaritimeEventsI don't actually know if it was possible, but maybe they could have called another big ship, which would have towed her out of the bay and then taken her to the drydock with the help of some warships to prevent hitting a mine by Britannic again.
@@GreatOceanShipsAndLinerssending another large ship would not be any better because with all the mines around, that ship or the Britannic might hit another mine and make everything worse.

Nah The britannic will have been A war Ship cuz of ww2 watch the video
@@Makeroffootballercards no because the olympic was scrapped due to the great depression so she would have been too
@@BlueTopHatVR2010it would have been sent for scrap yes but think about this since britannic was made around the same time as aquitania they both would have been kept in service a few more years after olympic and mauretania and when britannic would have been withdrawn the Second World War might have started so they would have used britannic as a troopship because her furniture would have been taken away so it wouldn’t be to hard to convert and they needed as many ships as they could get. If britannic sank during the seconded world war her sinking would have been a lot more deadly. If she survived she would either been sent back to Cunard who would probably scrap her in a year or 2. Or if she was kept by the British Royal Navy she probably would have lasted longer before being most likely scrapped. But maybe there might have been a slight chance she would be bought and turned into a museum ship. it’s highly unlikely but we will never know. But hey that’s just a theory a SHIP THEORY.

BRITANNIC Video ❤❤
Let me just give you a stupid story from history…
On November 16, 1916, British Hospital Ship, HMHS Britannic leave port for Naples Italy to pick up 300 wounded soldiers and go to Greece.
On November 19, 1916, Britannic arrives at the Naples Italian port just when the sun is rising.
On the tragic morning of November 21, 1916, The HMHS Britannic strikes a mine which was put by German U-Boat, U-53. The ships boilers and storage rooms quickly start flooding on the left side of the ship, giving it a 5 degree or so list. As Lifeboats start to deploy, the engine’s are still running, meaning the propellers are still rotating.
About 2-4 lifeboats were unlucky due to the propellers sucking them in and destroying them. The ship has about a 30 degree lean at this point and hits the Aegean Sea Floor.
Overall, the ship took a small 55 minutes to sink and 30 were killed.
The older sister of the ships, the Olympic was now the only child since her sisters, Titanic (1912) and Britannic (1916) were sunk. The Olympic would have a wild career which I will break down sweetly and small.
After the sinking of the Britannic, the Olympic was fitted to be a troopship for the remainder of WWI, become a cruise liner again and be scrapped in 1935.
Another steam locomotive of a ship that sunk with the titanic and britannic was the Lusitania.
In 1915, the Lusitania was an auxiliary war ship-passenger liner carrying munitions and ammo to Britain. It was leaving New York going to Liverpool which is where the titanic was launched. Sadly the German U-Boat, U-20, fired upon the Lusitania hitting the ship in the Starboard mid-front section. The ship had over 1,197 casualties and sunk in 18 minutes. Only 761 passengers survived the sinking. So in total, I told you 3 stories about 3 different ships.
Rate my accuracy
Britannic in the start: HMHS Britannic in the end: HMT
another way she wouldnt have sank is if: there was no crew change cuz its wartime watertight doors are ordered to be closed at ALL times except during crew changes so another way would have been if luckily crew change didnt happen yet so it would mean britannic wouldnt have sank
(nevermind the mine impact caused many watertight bulkheads to flex and bend a bit but still)
I think the explosion caused the watertight doors to malfunction and not work which is why they’re open on the wreck.
There were only 4 compartments flooded in total, the main issue is when all the portholes were open
Britannic dodging the mine: 😁😁
