So I don’t understand. What is the factory hidden connector for? Was it. For a trunk release on 300s and Chargers? And is that spring really supposed to kick the hatch enough that the struts take over from there and lift the hatch? I think you’d need struts with a much higher extension force. If that is the idea and it does kick it out a bit, and this could work.
I just picked up a 06 magnum.is thete any possible way you can reach out tonme and guide me through wiring the hatch release,it would be greatly appreciated, thank you
Hello is it possible to get two of them Resistors already made up from the guy who did this because I want to do this on both of my magnums and a dumb question I’m assuming where you hooked up the push button that wiring already goes to the hatch for the release?
Hey bud. I followed every step you posted from video 1 thru 3. No clicks from final result. Any ideas. I used the correct resistor. Installed to every detail. Any ideas?
BTW I forgot to put I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum v6. It had the wire. I plugged it into the switch without first installing the resistor and friend clicked it. Would that blow the fuse? I figured no harm and continued with the install. But like I said no click after completed.
Man, if I put that big goofy silver knob on my headlight switch it would get hit by knee over and over and it would break. I guess the original one he couldn’t reach? Couldn’t see? Wasn’t silver enough? That’s it. It wasn’t silver enough.
Amazing the wiring that went into cars 15 years ago....can you imagine the wiring on something like a new Bentley nowadays?...crazy
I installed this today worked beautifully. Thanks Bro
Can you send the link to where you got the resistor
Thanks this was a blessing

What is the point of the resistor the factory 300 and charger don't have resistor🤔
so cool thank you so much! I'm gonna try this this weekend

Yo buddy,do you still have that magnum ?
Just did mine does weather play a factor in struts
Why do you need the resistor?
Same question for me the wire is already in there same thing as the 300 and charger why put the resistor🤯
Dear sir, from where can i get that switch? I'm dying to get one. I own a 2008 dodge magnum SXT and it missing a lot of the good things.

@@scott_cameron I was wondering samething if I would of did it that way
Just tried this and it doesn't work for me. I have the resistor in and all. Put the button on, tried it and nothing.
Can you please show me how to make the resistor I have everything it the resistor I can't make please do tell
How much would you charge me to make and send me the wire setup???
How many resistors did you put together?
One...so I'm told.
you can buy a resistor at walmart, radio shack, online...etc etc
do you have anymore of them resistors available
I have 9.
@@scott_cameron how much for one?
Were you get resistor wire from
Scott Hutson hey Scott can I pay you to make two of the wire resistors?
@@scott_cameron can I pay for the resistors?
Just wanted to let everyone know that this cannot be done on the 2005 Magnum SXT model because there are no wires under the drop panel.
I would bet good money that they are there somewhere. All wiring looms are the same for each car.
Bad ass head tatt. Def going to do this to my magnum
I'd like to get a resistor from you
