George Sanders, said to David Niven, back in the 30s, that when age became an issue, he would simply end his life. and he did, he was simply methodical about every thing.

See George Sanders Wikipedia Bio. Niven's recollection was oddly specific including age at death, and apparently made after news of death. The man's life had become extremely miserable and then a cherry on top was dementia diagnosis. He hated the idea of needing others to take care of him. His suicide by pills was not a casual decision.

I tried a drug ( I won't say)once and said, oh my gosh I can NEVER do this again! I did one more time. I knew I would have to stay away from people who do it too.
I've been sober from alcohol for 4 years. I will puff puff for the rest of my life. It's less harmful of all the drugs on this planet... doctors push pills which are highly additive, sadly. I can stop smoking for months but I feel like crap...like I did all my life, except when I smoke. You don't feel drunk you just feel highly alert.
Free the weed, thankful it won't be much longer❤️

Coroner found that Marilyn Monroe would have died within a year anyway, as her pancreas and liver were all but destroyed by alcohol and drug abuse. She was a smoker like so many of them were back then but she quit in her 60s because she was starring on Broadway in the show "Coco" about French fashion designer Coco Chanel and had to sing songs and she needed to have a clear voice! Your accusations are completely wrong and unfounded! And the photo you show next to her is NOT her! Quit vilifying a famous legendary great from the Golden Age of Hollywood! Take bunch of pills and then change her mind and call for help, this time she took too much it acted faster than she could call and we lost her! Sad but true. I will say where is her diary? That is a true mystery. Tell me that wouldn’t be an exciting read.
