A look at how Global Electric and Electronic Processing Inc.(GEEP) recycles your old TVs, electrical appliances and computers at the Edmonton Waste Management Centre.
I do the same thing. I look in trash cans and dump sites. People are throwing away money. I go around town and look for anything I can tear apart. I recycle every part copper, plastic, steel, aluminum, brass, die cast, I even find gold, platinum, and lead. I make around 100-300 a week.
They should do this in every state. I would be more than happy to pay a little extra just to make sure old electronics can be properly recycled.
We need something like this in Australia.
Edmonton has a great recycling program,

Why not just sell it (If it still works)? It's not like old tvs/monitors are worthless. There are collectors who will buy it.
