- Our unique modular pergola system is like "lego" for adults. You can customize your shade structure with standard 4x4 wood posts of 8ft, 10ft and 12ft lengths. Structures can be as small as 8x8 over a hotub or can be infinite in size to cover a big commercial patio or events! Check out our Instagram for more ideas tojagrid
The best , cheapest and most beautiful choice I found so far.
Glad you like it!
Really simple and smart, love it !
Luciano Lizana Yeah. Better off buying the one from Costco. They sell a killer wood Gazebo. Best I’ve seen for the money.
This tuna thing is awesome
I would love to see spec limitations I’m building one with 6x6 beams . They are heavy.
Please see the Details tab on each Bracket's page for more info: www.tojagrid.com/collections/brackets
Is 9 1/2ft high sturdy enough to hold 20 x 12ft? And is this too high for a pergola? And does require to stain the lumber every year?
Hi friends, I’m interesting in a pergola like this do you sold in Spain? Let me know how. Best regards from Barcelona
At this time, we've paused international shipping and only ship to US and Canada.
I have a compost deck, can you anchor right on the deck boards?
Our systems can be installed almost anywhere with the appropriate mounting hardware and practices. Please see the disclaimer in our Instructions Manual for more mounting tips for different surfaces (cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2568/0730/files/English.pdf?8940530499732687773).
Since we do not do any installations we are limited on the advice we can offer in terms of securing to different surfaces. Each surface is different and can require different securing hardware, we recommend reaching out to your local hardware store for their advice on the best securing hardware and method for your surface.
We also recommend consulting a local hardware store as they would know the best practices with your specific surface in mind and can help you choose securing hardware accordingly. You would also have to take building codes and local regulations into consideration, and a local hardware store would be aware of them as well.
I read that a 4x4 will span no more than 8' without sagging over time. So how are these dimensions possible?
We have not experienced any sagging staying within our 12' spans.
Depends on the wood used. As you get over 8' there can be slight sagging with 4x4s with spruce...If you want the 10' or 12' length I'd go with 6x6; they don't usually sag even at 12'.
What are the dimensions of the beams pls? In Australia we have 10 by 10 cm. Best
Hello, we offer systems for both 4x4" and 6x6".

You probably need a planer to shave the lumber to fit. Even slightly larger size will not fit in.
To help avoid any fitment issues, we always recommend taking a Toja Grid bracket with you when purchasing lumber to ensure fitment.
Any regular 6x6 lumber should fit that you find at a lumber yard like home depot. If you go to a smaller mill you may get "oversized" dimensions. A 6x6 is not really a true 6x6 and Toja has accounted for this. A small mill; however, might mill their wood to exact 6x6 dimensions which are larger than the brackets and you'd need to plane them down.
