    Love the confidence! Not beating around the bush - "I'm gonna go sub 12 and I want everyone to come and race me". That's a champions mentality. Can't wait to watch this guy in future!

    Taggert is an awesome man! Raced triathlons with him for a season then he paced me to a 10min PR in my half marathon last year while he was running the full marathon. Much bigger and better things are still to come for him in the future!

      24 miles a day is really not that hard on your body if you're smart about it

    • @williamdowling7718
      @williamdowling7718 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TripDadLife what do you think someone should do to be smart about it? Each step does some damage to your body, especially on concrete where he says he runs 99% of his miles.

      @@williamdowling7718 smart about listening to your body...

      @@williamdowling7718 I ran 230 mile weeks 99% road miles for all of October and ended just fine. The mental traps you set for yourself and how "damaging" certain activities are are just that -- traps. If you are young you can also get away with more. Just gotta be smart about what you're doing.

      @@TripDadLife so your advice on how to not get injured when running is to stop running if your body is telling you you're injured?
      This is really groundbreaking stuff.

      Most elite runners push themselves to that point during a peak race. They then take several weeks off before resuming training. He will be okay.
