I love peanut butter fudge, but I have never made it because I've always been intimidated making candy or fudge. The candy I have made, seems to never turn out the way it should. So, I kind of given up trying to make it. This really looks like an easy recipe. I'm thinking about making it. The cookbook looks awesome. I have been to Dollywood, but it has been many years ago. So glad there is a Dollywood cookbook.
I get intimidated by fudge and candy too but this recipe was super easy! And addictive!! I won't be able to make it too often because we always eat too much of it :)
Hi, I am interested in finding a cookbook that I can hardly remember much about it, but you have such a large collection, you might be able to help me.
Yes! I've learned since then! It was hard to see on camera but when I looked in the glass it had formed ribbons that looked like they were collecting together. But I see now that I got too excited! Next batch I'll let cook longer. It still made the best tasting fudge so the recipe itself is perfect. The softness was complete user error! 😅
It's such a well documented cookbook! I love to learn things from cookbook and not just the recipes!
I heard about this book! Glad to see someone try it ❤

I just bought this cookbook from giant tiger for $7.00 :)
It sure looked like you did NOT reach soft ball stage. The candy drip should actually form into a “soft ball” you can roll between your fingers.

All is well that ends well!
