WHAT KIND OF PARENT ARE YOU?

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a "Parent" as "a person who brings up and cares for another." I have come to the conclusion and strong belief that #Parenting is a whole lot more than the transference of a biological DNA.
So, taking "bring up" and "care for" into context, I believe that Parenting flows along these courses -
1. Biological Parents (Genetical Transmitters - By Birth or Adoption):
Creating or providing initial experiences of sight, sound, perception and belief, these parents nurture, instil values, plant a perspective, frame a temporary life compass and establish foundational Identity.
2. Institutional #Parents (Intellectual Transmitters - #Educators):
Whether at the primary, secondary or tertiary level, this group reinforces or reframes acquired values, reinforces or redefines a perspective, constructs or redirects the life compass and reinforces or redefines Identity.
3. Societal Parents (Political, Business or Religious #Leaders, Role Models, #Mentors, or #Coaches):
These people eventually and progressively solidify the perspective that may significantly contribute to self and societal benefit or destruction.
It is important to acknowledge the role that a #Vision plays in Parenting. Without a vision of #WHY? and #HOW? you want to parent, and quite importantly too, #WHAT? you want to achieve from the #Art of Parenting, you will shoot missiles aimlessly, yet complain endlessly about lost battles and unattained spoils. A Vision not purposely crafted and communicated will neither be detected nor comprehended by the intended Executors, nor achieved by the Visionary.
So, while the primary responsibility lies with #BiologicalParents, #InstitutionalParents and #SocietalParents play significant roles in the preservation or destruction of our shared society. Hence, we MUST all rise to the duty and deliver progressively on the task that has been assigned to us by God, or by our absolute #Choice.
