Lucy lives here on the South Coast where she surfs, lives on the edge of a national park with wombats popping in to stay for a while. I have 2 of her decks and have always wondered about some others which you have helped me narrow down. Lucy has a podcast too if anyone is interested in listening too on your morning walks or drives.
I used to have the Oracle of Shadow and Light which I hid from my overly religious parents. I was so in love with it but I had such great difficulty in reading the cards…maybe it’s because my readings were done in a rush and I was constantly looking over my shoulder hoping that nobody at home would catch me reading cards. It broke my heart that I learned that I had to throw the deck away because a priest had to cleanse our house. 😭
@@nadia_margaret_3458 hahaha good for you for sticking up for yourself! In fairness, our house was haunted! We could hear footsteps, beds shook, somebody trying to grab you, etc. My mom called a priest and got rid of her feng shui stuff, I was asked to get rid of my “occult” stuff as well.
There is one breakdown I'd love to see, that is the decks and books by Barbara Moore. I've seen so many people say that anything she does is a must have. But having a little help prioritizing could be nice!...
I just binged watched your Colette and Alana deck videos. Now I’m watching this one 😂. I like the series. I’m not familiar with deck creators by name, but I hope you do another one.
I love your personal views on the story of Alice in Wonderland and the themes in it. I always saw it as a type of underworld journey for Alice. If that makes sense. I'm just now looking into Lucy's decks and I have started with The Fairytale Oracle. So far, it has been intense, dreamy yet confronting. If I were to describe it... Going through a collection of rooms and places, fleshed out in a dreamscape. Traveling through a web of pondering tales. It just keeps getting better, really.
I LOVE all Lucy Cavendish decks as I feel really identify with them. I also love Les Vampire deck which are so powerful for me that it fills my body with an “electric” type energy. 💜
I believe in your sense of aesthetic and comprehension of decks 😊 I was convinced that I had to have Myths & Mermaids, Alice: The Wonderland Oracle and The Faerytale Oracle. Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts 😊❤

Thank you for another lovely video. I am really enjoying the deck overview videos per author. Watcing this brought back to me so many memories from the days you were filming the initial deck reviews with Talula and all those video requests of mine (Kuan Yin, Wisdom of Avalon, Medicine Wheel oracles and that awesome video on spirit guides with alternative ways to connect to them!). I am not as present in the comments currently but I am always anticipating for your next video as I did back when you started the channel. Thank you for your presence and integrity all these years. You were for me in a very difficult point of my life not only an important source of information but also something like a kindered spirit. A person I could "attend" to for subjects that my environment would not accept.❤️ I have 8 of the mentioned decks and Shapeshifters is my best friend. I recently purchased the revised Australian edition of shadows and light and it has matte cardstock now 💕 Ps: That red lipstick though... Can we I please have the code/name?

Wild Wisdom of the Faery was my very first deck! I had wanted the darker back version, which is what the posting showed, but when the deck came it was the lighter version. I do really like how it works though so I'm ok with the deck but will still be looking for the older version!!
You twisted my arm Alice & fairy tales going onto my list. I really love how deep les Vampires can go. Shadows & light took a while to for me to warm up to. But it is great at reminding to cleanse my space 🧙🦋💜

As you were flipping through the Blessed Be deck I was thinking this would be good for meditation drawing. I am not a good drawer but I have found some deck are great for this. I was not going to get this one ,I have now changed my mind :) Cheers from Evelyn

I was confused with the shapeshifter deck. The latest Australian edition is borderless by blue angel. My 2015 edition is. Has the moon on the back the card. So there is 2 Australian editions floating about . and the American . I really love this deck though. Shapeshifters is the bomb for accuracy for me.

I got that oracle I’d the faery deck and all I kept getting was the princess and the pea card. And I still have no idea what that meant for me. Not completely. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I find faerytale oracle so difficult to get into. I feel the stories and the meanings don’t match sometimes. But I do love les vampires.
I have Shadows and Light, Wild Wisdom of the Faerie(purple), Foxfire and Hidden Worlds.
