Im watching this December 2024....& thankfully due to the Marvel Legends rerelease program..i was able to pick up Professor X with Hover Chair on the aftermarket for $50..as well as a Retro Kingpin for $50 on Amazon as well.. I also ALMOST picked up the released Silver Surfer from BBTS so i could have one for my Fantastic Four display..& one for my Defenders display.. but i figure that Marvel Legends will inevitably release an UPGRADED Silver Surfer soon.. probably on the Vulcan body sculpt..
Nice pick ups bro! That Red Hulk head is pretty good and good likeness to what he looks like in the comics. I have every version of the Hulk they released on this buck and this is a good representation of Ross. The hair is shorter and more of a spiked up look like Ross had. They did reuse this head sculpt later on for the Compound Hulk. Ross never had a stache when he transformed into the Red Hulk which was a talking point back in the day when he came out in the comics. Like where did his stache go when he transformed? lol! Believe it or not, there have been two Red Hulks in the comics, the comic picture that you showed is not Ross, it’s the second Red Hulk (General Robert Maverick). That Kingpin is so good. I am glad they rereleased him in this purple pants version. So when I got this one, I turned the BAF one into Shadow King using the head that came with Professor X in his hover chair. I think the first appearance buck for Silver Surfer would be severely undersized. Hell, I think the RYV buck would still be undersized for Silver Surfer. The Vulcan Buck is what we need to see Silver Surfer on and even then still a tad bit undersized but I could work with that. SS is supposed to be 6’4”. Let me put that into better perspective, that’s two inches teller than Captain America.

I wanted the Kingpin and Silver Surfer but they weren't must haves for me so I never seriously considered paying the secondary market price for either. I haven't found Red Hulk yet. I do have the diamond select Red Hulk so I'm not too concerned if I don't find him.
I pre-ordered Marvel Legends Retro Kingpin from BBTS a few months back.. hopefully I'll get it this month Btw i also pre-ordered Marvel Legends Walgreens Silver Surfer from BBTS as well.. but since i already had one..& i had just pre-ordered so many Marvel Legends 85th Anniversary figures..i decided to cancel it As far as Red Hulk..i was able to get it a few years back on the aftermarket for about $40..it was a pretty good deal at the time. Btw as far as Retro Kingpin is concerned..i remember seeing him everywhere for about $35/$40 a few years back.. but suddenly it went up to about $100 on the aftermarket.. but ever since the rerelease... the aftermarket price has gone DOWN.

They're all great figures. It's good that they're re-released, so those who missed them can get them at retail price instead of paying the secondary market prices. I wish that the silver surfer should have had two pegs or the magnets.that Toybiz used back in the day. It would have made him more secure on the board.
@@AToyKindaMood It was done back in the Toybiz days. The first ever Silver Surfer had magnets on his feet and his board, and that made him more secure than the Hasbro one. He also came with a Howard the Duck figure as an accessory. Yup Hasbro has improved over the years in sculpt, and quality, but Toybiz sure had them beat on accesories and paint.
