Under the hood on the lip just above the fuse box (next to my Auxbeam switch controller). It works there and I’ve had no issues. In hind sight, I think I would’ve rather found a spot in the cab (maybe under the seat?) I was worried about it getting wet under the seat and that’s really not been a problem, even with the doors off. Plus with the box under the hood the rear light is at the cables max length
Hate to hear that, I wish I could remember which ones I bought. My magnets have held up great for several years now. But yes if the magnets don’t hold up then it won’t work
I did this and holy shit it works great!! Thank you for posting this video!! You're awesome!!!
Thanks, glad it helped
Thanks for sharing and glad you enjoyed the rock lights!
Thanks
Thanks for tagging Auxbeam!
No problem, I love the switch pod In my Jeep. Also the f16 headlights in my Silverado and my f150
I'm currently installing the same q1 rock lights. Where did you end up mounting the control box?

I did the magnet install with my wheel lights and a big failure due to the sealed magnets rust out.
