Beautiful Gorge on road to Plakias South Rethymno Crete. Amazing mountainous features with a road cut through it. But park the car and walk to the waterfall and springs for a very refreshing swim in the cold spring waters that thunder down through the waterfall into pools. Best go early before the crowds and experience a fantastic way to start the day. Then this location puts you in a great position to travel further to some excellent locations on the South coast.
