As a long time Lions fan and a season ticket holder at Ford Field, I just hope it’s a great game for both sides and everyone goes home healthy! GO LIONS!!
Straight up. Can not take the Jags lightly in any capacity. They took it to the Vikings and, imo, could have won that game had a few things bounced right.
@@thestormofwarI’m a Lions fan, I live in Jax and I watch a lot of Jags games, I don’t think it’s possible to underestimate the Jags. They are terrible! 🤣
Tom, this is the team the Jags need to duplicate…I remember 2 years ago when the Jags thought they would go into Detroit and kick butt and they got stomped…then after, fans laughed at it and said it was a wake up call… those of us who LOVE both teams, said “No, Detroit is different”… It is all about the culture and attitude…ALL from the ownership down…get some former players into management…and it is also DEVELOPMENT…they DEVELOP their young players…with the right attitude and growth, you make it happen…
Lions fan here. The team is going to be sky high after last weeks' big win at Houston, Za'Darius Smith will be playing his first game in a Lions uniform, the fans are going to be rucous....as you'all mentioned the Jags have holes, especially on offense. I see this getting ugly fast because the Lions D is one of the top D's even without Hutch, and Za'Darius is coming in hot. Unless the Jags can get pressure on Jared, yikes...
you guys can't forgot none of the Lions sucess happens without trading Stafford to LA. That's capital that alot of teams simply don't have to trade and get what the lions got in return.
Bigger picture Tom…check it down throw it away? Good question BUT…we do not know what goes on in those meeting rooms…I look at it from a leadership standpoint point, because that is what I teach and do… The HC/OC question is something that is a possible distraction that should not be… DP did the same thing in Philly and yes it effects the play on the field…a problem between a GM and SM in a corporate office EFFECTS the business…Head Coach ego and arrogance is something that might be a problem…listen to what Goff says about Ben Johnson “He understands that players play and he molds his offense to OUR strengths” … that attitude also fits Generation Z mentality and ALL of the players are Gen Z…that has an impact…there is so many problems but receivers not running 100% all the time effects Trevor…WR’s blocking on EVERY running play effects Travis and Tank…and effects the O line… depth and development are things that I have seen as a missing link in Jax… Detroit’s mentality is that every player MUST be trusted even the LAST guy on the PRACTICE SQUAD…Detroits practice squad would crush Jags practice squad because of culture and development…
Mr Mac come coach for the team. You’re a former player. You know football. You have that vision. And you love the Jaguars so come coach defense or something. Tom Coughlin tree some what from that coaching you took in.
Not this Sunday fer sure.. Detroit is too determined and they're just different than any other team.. they still respond to being hated on .. they're still salty about that..
Trevor is the only player that shows he’s upset when he makes a mistake. You are so off on Trevor. He makes those out route throws beautifully. The offense is stagnant and too predictable. There’s a reason why in Philly he not had 1 great season. His offense gets figured out and Doug makes zero changes. Jacksonville needs a coach that isn’t soft-spoken and isn’t afraid to get in their ass when they mess up. Doug is always this soft-spoken and preaching positivity. And his offensive system is a piece of crap. Dan Campbell on the other hand is a players coach but doesn’t put up with bullshit and he will get his players asses if they mess up. I love you, Tommy, but every time you sit and criticize a quarterback for not seeing an open receiver, it just irritates the crap out of me. It cannot be that easy in the heat of the moment with everything that’s going on during a play for quarterback to see every receiver at the same time. Maybe BTJ was the first read and when he got to him, he wasn’t open at that time so he went to the second read. There’s a lot more that goes into it than just dropping back, saying “hike” and throwing it. If Trevor and Mac are both making the same mistakes then it’s coaching!!!
I'm sorry brother. 16 has all the physical tools, including toughness, but his game is missing something. Consistency would be a good place to start. Accuracy too. And for every "beautiful" out route, he sails one over their heads. Doug thought he could fix Trevor. He hasn't. Trevor is our guy so Doug would be out. And should be. Shit, I could get Trevor playing lights out. It's not that hard. But he's got some bad habits we would have to break first. LFG Jags. Find a way today! Thanks for watching and the banter. I do appreciate it.

Lmao.. shut up.. you know your trolling.
Big win and big loss with Alex A.
For ages, before 2020, conversations we would have about the Lions would have similar frustrations.
Winning is a mental push up, mentally, you show up at games expecting a win. It is a learned response to pressure, and can be taught. Ask MCDC.
Detroit has Grit
Detroit has a lot of talent.
Yes. Because the Lions will not take this team for granted.

As a Lions fan - you both really know football ! !
Yes. Yes it will.

It's already there. 35-6 in the beginning of the 3rd quarter...
Like every week...if the Jaguars loose...please loose with some dignity and make it a good game.

Zeitler came from Ravens.

Maybe Trevor isn’t that DUDE?
